Description

Body Stress Release is a complementary health technique that assists with releasing tension that has become stored in the physical structures of the body.

Body Stress can be emotional, chemical or physical in origin. When it reaches overload in the body, stress / tension has a compressive force on tissues. This tension can lead to pain, muscle spasm, migraines, headaches, pins and needles, sciatica, lumbar pain, impaired immune function, etc.

A session of Body Stress Release usually lasts around thirty minutes and takes place with the client remaining fully clothed. Using your body's own neuro-muscular responses to determine sites of stored tension, these areas are then released by the Body Stress Release practitioner using a specific and directed impulse technique. This technique is safe for all - from the newborn to the elderly.

Body Stress Release allows your body's communication system to function better, thereby restoring your body's own powerful self healing abilities.

"Body Stress Release helps the body release stress that locked up in muscles and structures. We then call that tension.Stress can be mental/emotional, physical as well as chemical.When stress locks up it starts dampening the nervous system, similar to a rock on a hosepipe, causing poor communication between the body and the brain.The way we work is to gently stimulate nerves of muscles and structures to help the brain recognise where it has to release locked up stress and where it needs to heal and repair. This also helps the body the realign and release overly locked up and protective muscle spasms.We work towards helping the person's body have long term effective healing, rather than giving a quick fix."
