Boksburg High School

I attended the Mr and Mrs Boksburg High pageant last night. Was pleasantly surprised at how organized everything was, security at the entrance, venue set up was great and the event started punctually!! Was astounded at how professional and "Mature" the learners were!! This school has a bunch of very very talented learners and the diversity was welcoming! A big shout out to my Niece who was crowned "Miss Personality", you wowed the crowed Angel!!! Show case of the night was the recycled outfits that students had to design. Let me tell you, some of those garments were so good even I would be crazy enough to buy it Besides the fact that we were freezing, as it was an outdoors event, all and all, it was an AWESOME experience. We'll done learners and leaders!!!

Not sure what the issue is with the staff but the administration is lacking, I am not saying they are bad teachers just the administration part is poor, handling of text books is one, registration is on another level of poor. Once this is sorted they should be on top again.

The administration staff is friendly, welcoming and assist without judging. Had a quick visit and was assisted with a smile.

I have to give a special shout out to Mrs Ashdown. I forgot how it felt to be heard and attended to with the due respect I give and expect back. She is the epitome of excellence. From the 1st interaction of warm welcome to updates of communication and to fast delivery. Principle is engaging and very receptive. It's just all the combinations of small attributes of old school mannerisms and professionalism for us old school types. The school is lovely and the discipline is one of the key reasons to have my child go to this school. Grateful to have them have her. She will do Boksburg High proud.

Still a disciplined school with good results

The school is too strict on hair amongst many other strict unnecessary rules which make no difference in terms of pupils conduct themselves and the teachers hate children, they're clearly there to collect a check every pay-day

The closest thing I can do is to make sure that I don't get any of trouble
