Fantastic! Luke's Game Drive was absolutely breathtaking. We were blown away with his knowledge. What a awesome, relaxing drive. We learned so much, Thank you Ranger Luke you made it a memorable experience. Food & drinks: Friendly staff and lovely food!

Bona Bona is really an amazing experience! Starting your trip by the reception, The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They had a good sense of humor and even allowed us to keep our luggage there as our check-in and spa treatment were booked at the same time Thank you Bongani 12/10! Talking about the Spa, it is a must as it is 1000% worth it. The reception ladies there were just as friendly and welcoming! The spa was an experience to behold as it was so Zen and calming. From relaxing music to indoor pools, steam rooms and even Sona. Ive never seen a spa like that! The Game drive the next day was out of this world. Thank you to Luke that was our ranger for being such a good host to us. His sense of humor and knowladge about the animals just made the drive 1000000 times better. His passion for animals and his job really showed when he talked to us. He really went out of his way to make it super memorable for us! I could not recommend him enough if ever you decide to do a game drive by Bona Bona!!!! If it ended there i would have gave Bona Bona 5 stars ,but sadly the restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. On two different ocations they staff manage to give us the wrong food we ordered. The first night we had amazing starters with wine. Everything was so cozy and enjoyable until we ordered desserts for takeaway. My Girlfriend ordered pecon pie and got completely something else i think they gave us lemon meringue pie . We din't complain as people do make mistakes and we still had a good time with the wine and food. The next day that afternoon when we got back from the game drive we sat again at the restaurant and ordered something to drink from a different staff member. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and my girlfriend ordered a Warm salted Latte. She again ended up getting the wrong order which was a salted milkshake. Being very dissapointed i just ended up paying for the drinks and we left.The restaurant in my experience is a 3/5. Good food, Good vibes just horrible service : . The Room where we stayed was amazing 4/5 . The bed was abit uncomfy , but otherwise everything else was amazing! We had the best view.

The venue is exactly what you want for variety of corporate functions. Exceptional location in a wild. Sight of your carnivores"lions, hyenas, tigers etc a normal occasion far enough away from the town buzz. Exceptional service simple, modern with wild feel, natural and the staff always seem to have a solution to your every challenge, quiet responsively. You need to experience it to understand. It's a lifestyle

We had the most amazing game drive with Ranger Luke. His knowledge was outstanding and he delivered the tour in both Afrikaans and English. The food, service and rooms are stunning, the staff is super friendly and the spa is a must. Looking forward to our next visit.Rooms: 5/5

Beautiful experience...took my mom & daughter out for their birthdays and it was beautiful...haven't seen my mom this relaxed/happy since my dad died...& my daughter was flabbergasted with seeing the animals.... Myself???...*sigh*...people need to go out more...nature is very beautiful & Bona Bona captureds it so perfectly

Staff members from the reception and the restaurant are the best at what they do. Very friendly and welcoming. We had the Best first game drive experience with Mr Luke. He made the drive fun, with interactive teachings and a dash of humor and sarcasm here and there. Also Making sure that the childen remember the lessons using random quizzes. He was kind to us, to an extant of allowing us a 20 min break to get food for the small kidz which is not normally allowed. Thank you very much, and we will definitely be coming back soon.

Well managed. Staff is helpful and friendly. The food is so good you cant stop. Overall one of the best there is. Well done to the team

Flew in there for a meal. Reception was great. Beautiful place in marvelous surroundings. Imagine how disappointed we were when the meals we had were not worth writing home about. My own "rack of lamb" was tasteless and the portion was fit for a kiddies menu. One of our group had a hamburger, and that was excellent. So rather have a hamburger if you go there and enjoy the aesthetics of the place.
