Only visited for a privaee boat ride and braai. Toilets were being renovated, shop had minimal products on sale. However the area was very clean and safe.

4 stars because the resort has started putting a lot of work into upgrading facilities and is getting involved in hyacinth and invasive water weed removal. Martin who manages the resort is brilliantly helpfull

We were told to leave at 16:00 even though the resort closes at 18:00pm. Well maintained lawn, clean toilets. There's no shop on site, be sure to pack all your essentials before visiting the place.

Take your boat or kayak and enjoy the serene views. A lovely braai and picnic spot. A free tractor is available to assist with launching your boat in and out of the water. A clean environment with security for peace of mind. Take your dogs, they will love it!

Absolutely terrible. Came in at 13:23 on a Saturday, tried to leave just after 12 the next day. The guards wouldn't let me leave without paying for a second day, even though I'd been there for less than 24 hours. Facilities are run down, no maintenance has been done in decades, roads are a nightmare best have a 4x4. NO LIFE GUARDS AT POOL. If you're looking for a relaxing day or weekend, do not bring your family here.

The place is awesome with well maintained lawns under beautiful green willow trees on the water's edge. There are buit braai's in a good state. Just consider taking your own braai grid. During the week it is dead quiet. There is a boat ramp, with easy boat docking in the shallows.

This is typical resort found at the local Gauteng dams. There is very little maintenance during the winter and limited facilities. If you are going for the day ensure that you pack everything including the kitchen sink and porta potty. The water quality is fair though open mouth water ski is not recommended for the young, old and sick..still better than sitting at home doing nothing..

Great place to rest and relax. The braai places needs an upgrade and most needs repairing. The compressor on site is old and not very effective. Would definitely say it needs to be replaced. The staff is not very friendly and it was not very clean.

Don’t EVER go to this place. We were chased away by the owner and repeatedly harassed to get off the premises when all we tried was to fasten the jet skis before leaving. We were meeting friend there and they made trouble and we were punished for it when we did absolutely nothing wrong. The owner is the rudest most arrogant man ever and we tried reasoning with him and he turned the story completely around and said we threatened him. Luckily there were two people in our car and its not a he said she said story.
