Bookmark is the official bookstore of the University of Pretoria in South Africa.

Description

Bookmark has four campus stores that are based in Hatfield, Groenkloof, Mamelodi and Prinshof. Bookmark provides students with their prescribed academic books and boasts a wide selection of recommended academic books, as well as a contemporary collection of factual and general books and magazines.

Products

All prescribed academic books as well as a wide range of stationery, general books, newspapers and magazines. Bookmark also boasts with a large gift and novelty department.

Every book you need is there If it's not in stock, then you can place an order wide selection of stationery and elctronics, so that's a plus You might need to compare quotes though
Too expensive for students in my opinion. I need a book that only Bookmark sells and its over R1000. Shades and pens are cheap though.
Has basic school products one will need. Couldn't find the pins I wanted though. But they do take fundi cards.

Great for emergencies with a wide selection of stationary, but extremely overpriced. If your a first year here are some bulletpoints I wished I knew before spending R6k+ at bookmark only in books: DO NOT BUY AT BOOKMARK, if you have to buy the book, order and pay online by Wize books and pick it up from across the street of Main gate, or literally any other bookstore or second hand dealer. If your wondering what books you need, check the study guides for each of your courses, it's usually in there. The only thing I ever HAD to buy from Bookmark is the A3 Design sheets for MGC 110. If your an engineering student get those before the first class if possible.
overpriced,overcrowded and understocked. Look forward to paying 1k for one textbook you will probably be using for one semester or one year and won't be able to sell due to changing of editions. Always crowded every single year, and they don't bother to find a solution for this despite the huge amounts of money they make. Considering they are the "official bookstore of University of pretoria", its really annoying hearing them say " oh sorry, we're out of stock for this book, try coming again in two days" or " sorry,we've never heard of this subject, I'm afraid we don't have this textbook." and they end up recommending other bookstores like Van schaik or wisebooks. yes you read that correctly, they recommend their competitors, thats how bad they are.
It is a nice place, with good services and friendly assistance staff that are ready to help you at any given time
Their prices are affordable and I love how they have a variety of brands for their products.
