A magical place for me to volunteer at. I went with the idea that I would be able to help these abandoned, surrendered, ill babies. I was wrong. These little angels have lifted my spirits in ways I never thought I needed help. It goes to show that if you help those who need help with a pure heart, you are actually helping yourself. Thank you to every single parrot, staff member, and volunteer at Brainy Birds for my little piece of heaven.
Working there as a volunteer makes it special. Dee and Nats is the most beautiful souls walkimg this earth. Learning so much from them as I also have 4 parrots at home. Please donate to this amazing place.

They really care and are so knowledgeable. They know exactly what to feed the different breeds and will advise you where to buy your beloved companions because even breeders and pet shops don't seem to know how to treat them or feed them properly. They're always looking for funds and extra volunteers so please help. It's incredibly rewarding.
Wonderful and fulfilling to spend the day helping take care and feed the parrots. Definitely, worth it to volunteer and make a small difference especially if you are passionate about parrots.
They really know how to look after parrots and rescue them and they have all the connections to the best veterinary specialists and feed the different breeds from across the world with their perfect balanced meals specific to them and can nurse them back to health with dedication and loving care. It's worthwhile inquiring about becoming a volunteer there for their wealth of information, love and expertise.

Lovely place and safe place for all birds in need.. They even help other rescues in need
Over 350 rescued birds!!! All funded by volunteer individuals. Their passion is palpable and their birds are treated better than they do for themselves. Visited with my grandson. Make an Appointment beforehand. We did not ignorance and caused them some inconvenience as they were feeding and had to stop to chat to us. I strongly suggest all bird owners, lovers and prospective owners visit them. Not only to support them but also to learn about how to treat them and to see the consequences of failing to honor the lifetime commitment you make when you own a parrot. Don't forget the joy of seeing the joy in the youngsters' faces as they interact with these intelligent feathered friends. And if you don't know who to share your blessings with, just visit them and decide for yourself
