Brakpan Parkrun

Good place to do your Parkrun, when it is open. I always go to the Brakpan Parkrun, as I like to support locally, however 4 times, when I arrive, there is no Parkrun, and there are runners, walkers & joggers waiting around for the Parkrun. Yet it is advertised in the local paper that there is a Parkrun and on Google it shows that it is open. :. Organizers need to get a better way of letting runners know that there is no parkrun for the week.

The ground was soggy around the old rugby field which made it difficult to maintain speed. Some of the signs were very small with the result that I went wrong twice. The volunteers did their best though. It was a pity that so few people participated. Time to relocate?

Good area to run... Some areas are really due to rain and the grass can be thick in some places...
