Navigating the Peaks and Valleys: Unveiling the Enigmatic Nature of Herotel Pre-Paid Fibre I recently had the privilege of experiencing the Herotel pre-paid fibre service. Initially, I was captivated by its flawless performance during the first three days. The internet connection was a paragon of speed and reliability, affording me the luxury of seamless web browsing and uninterrupted streaming of my preferred content. Regrettably, my euphoria was short-lived as the service abruptly ceased to function for a disheartening duration of two days. This unforeseen hiatus left me disconcerted and inconvenienced, particularly as a neophyte user who had anticipated a commensurate return on investment. In my quest for resolution, I endeavored to engage their customer support via their WhatsApp call center, only to be met with a response time that fell short of my expectations. On a more positive note, when the technicians eventually graced my abode to address the predicament, their demeanor exuded warmth and professionalism. With unwavering dedication, they toiled assiduously to rectify the issue and reinstate my internet connection. Their expertise and amiable disposition were truly commendable, and I found solace in their earnest efforts to ameliorate the situation. While I am inclined to recommend Herotel pre-paid fibre to prospective users based on its initial performance and the affability of its technicians, I must candidly express my disappointment with the aforementioned downtime and the tardy response from their WhatsApp call center. As a first-time patron, my expectations were lofty, and regrettably, I did not feel that I received commensurate value for my investment. It is my fervent hope that Herotel will endeavor to enhance their responsiveness and ensure a more consistent and dependable service in the future. The disappointment I experienced during the service interruption with Herotel pre-paid fibre was further compounded by the fact that it operates on a prepaid basis. As a conscientious consumer, I had diligently invested in this service, expecting uninterrupted connectivity and value for my money. However, the unfortunate reality was that I lost out on those two crucial days where the service was non-functional. Prepaid services inherently carry an expectation of reliability and uninterrupted access, as users pay in advance for a specified period of service. In this case, the abrupt cessation of connectivity for two days left me feeling disheartened and dissatisfied. Not only did I lose the opportunity to utilize the service during that time, but I also felt that I had been deprived of the full value of my investment as a first-time user. The inability to utilize the service during those two days had a tangible impact on my productivity and daily routine. It disrupted my ability to work, communicate, and engage in various online activities that have become integral to modern life. The frustration stemming from this loss was palpable, as I had expected a seamless and uninterrupted experience throughout the prepaid period. While I understand that technical issues can arise unexpectedly, it is disheartening when such disruptions occur, particularly in a prepaid service where users have already committed their financial resources. The inability to recoup those lost days or receive compensation for the inconvenience only added to my disappointment. In summary, the prepaid nature of Herotel pre-paid fibre magnified my dissatisfaction, as I not only lost out on two days of service but also felt that I did not receive the full value of my investment. The disruption to my daily routine and the impact on my productivity were tangible reminders of the disappointment I experienced during those unfortunate days.
Firstly I would like to say that in the beginning we advised everyone to join, however over the last 3-4 months we had A LOT of interrupted service or problems which made our choice clear to find a new ISP as I work from home. What a horrible company and the agent Jeannette Modiegi Moganedi is the rudest and most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. We cancelled our service with a one month notice in April 2023. Our last day with Herotel will be 31 May 2023. However they sent 2 installers to come and collect the router on the 5th of May, firstly it took over 4 emails just for her to grasp what the problem is thereafter she phoned me and asked me did the installers force their way into my property to collect the router why didn't I stop them. Jeannette in answer to your rude, unprofessional question, It is not my job to schedule your pick ups, It is your job to only send out the agents for collection after the contract has expired not whilst we still paid for the month of service!!! WE WILL NEVER support Herotel again they were good in the beginning and just went downhill from there.
I would like to give a compliment to Marko and Joseph for always giving an exceptional service. They know know what their doing and sort out the problem within 10min, unlike the other guys the sent. Well done guys!!!
Friendly and good service received.
They started of good but as time went by the reliability of their internet went out the window. Since the beginning of this year we had internet interruptions on a weekly basis. The internet speed is also inconsistent.
Best ISP I've ever used. Great communication, issues get resolved in a timely manner, speed is great. 10/10 would recommend.
My WiFi has been off for 2 days now , I have received a couple of calls from them regarding the problem , but nobody can tell me when a technician will be able to come and sort the problem out . I can not sit around and wait for "I don't know" or "all we can do is wait ". They also billed us double a couple of months ago , but they are very slow when it comes to fixing their mistakes. Still waiting for refund , 5 months later.
If I could give it –5 Stars I would!!! Every other day there’s a problem with the wifi. You call support and they give you a reference number to “fix” the problem but yet the problem repeats itself!!! Would not recommend at all!
Be careful, they will indicate a certain line speed, but they will not keep that speed. they will throttle you every chance they get, and theyre service is slow in response and will not follow up. terrible
Pathetic, day 3 of begging Herotel to fix my Fibre several call, emails and a useless WhatsApp line. If someone can just get back to me with a timeline I would at least have some sort of communication back.. I urge anyone to consider other option before using Herotel.
