What a pleasant surprise! The extensive menu consists of mainly traditional Afrikaans dishes, and are sumptuously prepared to perfection. Prices are very competitive, and the service good. If you want to experience traditional South African cuisine, in a pleasant yet lively setting, give them a try.

Love this place, service is excellent, food is very good, staff is friendly & accommodating, will be back for more and more and more. They work on reservation, because they are very busy.

Excellent restaurant, great atmosphere and even better food. The steaks were juicy, service was quick and friendly, and we had a great time! Vegetarian options: It's a beef focused restaurant, with few option for vegetarians.

Well it certainly isn't your usual type of place which makes it great. Always had a good experience! Appreciate the cocktails and all meals have always been great. Love the quirky menu and I don't usually like pampoen but the pampoen balls with sweet sauce are brilliant. A must try!

I like to eat their special burger with the 250g patty. This time I was brought a burger with a small patty. After bringing it under the attention of the waiter, she only came back and told me the chef said it was the right patty. I had to call a manager. She took my burger back and only after 15 minutes she came back to say it was replaced by the right patty. No excuse or apologies. At that time the table had already finished their food. Not a good experience!!!

We had our year end function at Buffelsfontein........ We all loved it. Our waiter served 11 people, and all aspects were brilliant. All of us will return.....
