I have no words to describe this place Every time i go ear there, it is a different experience Great food, great service, and what an absolute afrikaan atmosphere Will always be my no 1 stop if im in that area

Was not all that wow food ... I expected more flavour ..was average for the steep prices.. But overall it was a nice experience.Food: 3/5

Authentic boere Cuisine. We started with the amazing bush snails that is beef fillet cubes with creamy garlic sauce. We also had the Beef marrow with onion marmelade. Delicious. We went on a Monday evening and had their burger special 2 burgers with chips that was very reasonably priced. Washed down with a milktart milkshake and a malva Pudding Milkshake. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Ended with a condensed milk Coffee.

Interesting decor and menu, but the service was a little slow. Seemed like they were prioritising guests that had theatre bookings. My steak was quite tough, but my daughter was served a special birthday dessert, which was much appreciated.

What a pleasant surprise! The extensive menu consists of mainly traditional Afrikaans dishes, and are sumptuously prepared to perfection. Prices are very competitive, and the service good. If you want to experience traditional South African cuisine, in a pleasant yet lively setting, give them a try.
