The staff at the Purple Gecko were so welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had car trouble coming out of Lydenburg and the staff at the purple gecko came and fetched us and helped us with all the extra details that needed sorting out. They went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate !Rooms: 5/5
Fantastic stay, rooms clean with lots of space. Comfortable beds safe and secure. The honesty bar fridge a nice touch.
From the time that you walk in at reception, until you say goodbye, they do there utmost best to help you relax, and to accommodate your problems. I would recommend a stay at the Purpel Guesthouse anytime
The place is beautiful and welcoming, but I forgot my daughter's polar fleece blanket in room 4 its light blue with pink decorations
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Purple Gecko. What beautiful rooms, spacious, luxurious and tastefully decorated 5 star treatment. More impressive was the honesty, much like the honesty tastefully stocked, we encountered. I got a call a couple of hours later to let me know that one of the guests had left a chain behind. Thank you Purple Gecko, you have many feathers in my cap in fact my have been put down as a preferred guesthouse for our future business trips.

A great choice if you're in need of accommodation in Lydenburg. Lovely, spacious rooms. Well-equipped and clean. Breakfast good, and served with a smile. Dstv and wifi are a plus as well.
