Great outdoor atmosphere. Live Music. Good variety of drinks - The Sangria is a must have. The Platters gives you the best of all their dishes mixed in one. Average waiting time for drinks 18mins and food 45min when busy.
I just love Picasso's. It's become tradition for us to go there on the last night of our stay here in MP. We're from Jhb. We've been doing this since 2019 and from then up to now, the service is 5 stars, the food 5 stars, the atmosphere. It's just a vibe. There's live music. The outdoor sitting is relaxed, with heating on colder days. It's just overall my favorite restaurant here in white river. My favorite meal on the menu is the enchiladas. Keep it up Picasso
Pleasantly surprised by this gem in the low veld. What a great idea to serve these Mexican comfort food dishes. What an atmosphere. Felt like I was on the beach with the sand under my feet at the outdoor dining area. Even though it was a winters evening, they had fire baskets lit up, which made for a lovely atmosphere. Going to make this my weekend bike road trip stop off. Vegetarian options: The Mexican food is of such a nature that you can easily ask them to remove the meat, and it will still be very tasty. But there are vegan alternatives for most dishes for eg. the Taco's and Burrito's vegan choices. Kid-friendliness: Big jungle gym Parking: Restaurant is built on both sides of the road in a cul-de-sac, with car guards. Zero stress.

I had a chicken burrito and it was amazing! The service was sooo bad! Waiter hardly ever checked on us, we had to call the waiter all the time we needed something!Food: 5/5
Food was so delicious, the service was top notch compliments to Waiter WENDY
Friends had recommended Picasso and we were keen to try for a special occasion. We had an initial very friendly greeting! But unfortunately we did not have a great experience after this. The menu offers local beers, but when we enquired about these it took 2 trips back and forward to the bar from the waitress, only to be told they only sell Castle Lite. Then we ordered the food, which sounded lovely. Only half the meal arrived. We started on this and the food we ate was very tasty. After we finished everything and no one had come to check on us, we called the waitress over and asked for the rest of the food. Nothing came out and no explaination. We finally got up and asked the manager to check. She went to the kitchen, but again neither waitress nor manager came to report back. Finally the waitress asked if they should ‘continue’ making the food… but as we had been there for an hour and a half we declined. The bill was brought to us without explainaition, apology or even the manager coming to check if we were ok. We were very disappointed by the experience, especially as it was supposed to be a special day. Accidents happen, but there is no excuse for poor service and no apology.
Tasty food and ready quickly. Good presentation and very clean. Food a bit bland for my liking but still good. Only disappointed with not getting a table by the fireplace when we requested that when making the reservation. It's a good stop if in the area.
