Cakes For Africa

We decided to get 4 different cakes to make up our wedding cake: Red Velvet, Black Forest, Bar One and Carrot. It was not cheap, but the quality and taste was out of this world. Freshly baked and superbly iced, it stole the show and put a big smile on every face. Thanks Cakes for Africa!!

Thanks to Tumelo, I ordered 20 cupcakes via WhatsApp 24 hours before I needed them and they came out better than the image I sent. Rather order in advance to avoid disappointments though. I probably ordered on a week and day that wasn't so busy. I'm extremely happy with these.

My son’s birthday party was ruined, there was No CAKE since they decidet to close before collection..when I arrived on Sartuday at 2:30 they were already closed with no communication or whatsoever, sent a Whatsapp message no response till Monday afternoon, when i got to their shop in Centurion on Monday only to find a wrong order and the man was rude, he told me he can not apologise for anything since he isn’t the one who took the order, I should chat to them on WhatsApp. Worst service ever!!!

Efficient service and a huge variety of cakes with a wide choice of decorations. The two cakes were ordered for a 90th birthday party were moist, tasty and absolutely delicious.

The cake was beautiful, moist and very tasty. Had to wait a bit longer when I arrived because they were not done with my cake.

My sister introduced us to Cakes of Africa in 2014 and since then is a family cakes store. Birthdays, Weddings and any other celebrations we don’t think twice but we head straight to Cakes of Africa. Keep up the good work. You never disappoint.

I ordered cupcakes initially I had said I want Moana pics then I changed to supergirl the guy never mentioned change of price on price I had already been charged I then asked for writing which I was told would be an extra R20 i then said let’s stick to the normal ones to my surprise the cupcakes come with Moana instead of supergirl when I call I spoke to some guy who put the guy I ordered from on the phone for him to start patronising me, if there was a 0 star I would have given it to them

Cakes for Africa has gone stale. I ordered a cake on Monday, picked it up on Friday. POOR WORKMANSHIP. On Saturday already the icing was weak. It had cracks everywhere. After cutting it we realised it was not well cooked. Sent a message to Cakes for Africa. From the onset they were not willing to help. I just wasted R 720. Upon arrival the two front workers could see it was poor. They were shocked. One even remarked, they made a dumpling. The manager in charge was not willing to listen to me. The cake was sealed since being cut but on Monday it could not be eaten. It was stale. Lesson learnt. There are a lot of sisters in the hood trying to make it. Rather support them.

First I was told my cake might not b ready on time but we agreed on the latest time, I had ordered chocolate gateau and custard flavor on another tier. I got all so called chocolate gateau on both tiers, so cheaply made stuffed with nothing but apricot JAM. It was horrible for such fancy name.worse, I whatsapped my frustration and got no response after 7 hours.
