We loved our stay in the sunrise cottage. House is very spacious light and clean. Nice swimming pool. Such a short walk to the beach, three minutes barefoot walking which was the biggest highlight. The resort has a very quiet, secure and professional feel to it. Staff also really friendly. Only things for improvement would be the service, dishes not being done well, maintenance not coming after repeated requests to come and fix a non functioning shower and laundry ready a day later than promised; and the restaurant being frequently closed for functions. These small things didn't spoil our stay though and we def recommend.
Sharing a twin room with a colleague on a work offsite. There was no bathroom door so no privacy and we had to keep meaning the room when the other wanted to shower. The shower gel could not be used because the dispenser didn't work. Strangely there was no extractor fan in the toilet and also no windows! Very unpleasant and somewhat embarrassing. We were there for two and a half days and we did not get any clean towels and had to use the same towels for the entire stay. The plugs kept tripping outside of load shedding schedules so we could not use our hairdryers etc. The fancier houses had inverters but sadly we did not. That said, at the end of the first day the staff kindly offered to move us to another unit but we were engaged in group activities/team build so it was not acceptable to leave. By the time the activity was done it was too late to move and we had Already unpacked everything. The resort, it's surrounds and the beach is breathtakingly beautiful and staff was kind. I will definitely return but will be more selective about the house I choose. Joe Fish restaurant was good and staff was accommodating for the halaal diners. I would like to think that it would be the same during a visit which is not a work offsite. Safety: Staff and security as well as grounds men frequently seen. Felt safe and secure.
Such a stunning location and the restaurant is right by your front door! Friendly staff and on the doorstep a beautiful beach! Well worth the visit. I’ll be back there in no time!
WiFi is terrible. Parking is a major problem, there is not nearly enough. TV is a waste of time on rainy days, not smart TVs. Beach is close but no swimming, need to walk around 1km to get to a swimming beach. Safe remained locked although I requested reset on the day after we arrived. Nice pool, good restaurant and staff are very friendly. Convenience store is well stocked and priced fairly
I love this place, would that l could be sent there more often. The simple comfort of the rooms, the helpful staff, and the serenity of the beach at sunset. Wonderful plaice. Noteworthy details: Take the offered picnic basket at sunset, and go to the beach. Can't beat the exoerience
Stayed in the two bedroom unit at club breaks. We travelled with two young kids. Beautiful location, Great easy access to the Beach. Accommodation is a bit lacking and needs some updating, staff were friendly. Fair amount of mold in both bathrooms which is to be expected in that climate but hard to justify paying the nightly rate with mould in the room. Especially if you are sensitive to mould. A complaint was made about the mould but there was no follow up. Very convenient to have the restaurant nearby as there is not much back up for Loadshedding only some globes. Wifi is very weak and they have no UPS during loadshedding which is something I think is necessary at this stage of loadshedding. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
We stayed here for 2 nights around New Year’s Eve. Very spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen and a braai in the back of the garden. Lovely beach nearby. Restaurant Joe Fish is very relaxed and serves fine breakfast. WiFi 3/10 in the rooms, 10/10 at Joe Fish.

Beautiful and peaceful. Everything you want or need is there in your own resort, the houses are big and well looked after. Everything in the resort is a walking distance or you can drive. It is secured no need to worry about aafety Rooms: Rooms are neat and big with own ensuite in each room Safety: Everything is remotely accessed and controlled by the resort security staff Walkability: Restaurant and beach are all in a walking distance
We enjoyed a pleasant stay. Once you park your car, the restaurant and beach is walking distance away. Walkability: A short walk take you to a huge beach. In the area there are also nature walks through natural vegetation.
