Ease of selling and buying items. Staff was definitely friendly there was a nice lady that spoke English and clearly explained that I could have the option of keeping the item I wanted to sell for a month and buy it back for a fee. A life saver she was. Overall sold stuff, bought stuff in my 5 month stay in Brussels completely satisfied everytime.
Cash Converters is a 2nd hand shop where you can sell and buy electronic equipment and games, household appliances, DVDs, Blu-rays, CDs and music equipment. When you're on the buying side, deals are to be found but when you're on the selling side don't be surprised if your cherished goods turn out to be less valued. It's a clean shop with two floors worth a stroll.
Always great, but no maquette or RC, great though
Very poor staff. I had an appointment for 11:10 however I arrived 15m earlier and explained to the staff present, they said I had to wait for my appointment. Meanwhile someone else arrived without any appointment and he was able to go in.. Basically I had an appointment, I had the work of calling before and I had to wait, when someone that just came didn’t have to. This is just upsetting as makes me believe it’s just easier to come without appointment. Nonsense, I would really like for someone responsible to tell me why this is happening. 14/04/21
Visited to check their inventory and see whether there was any gadgets worth purchasing. Saw a great deal of electronics that I will first research on price and then decide whether to purchase with cash converters or elsewhere. Conducted the research and made the purchase and sale with them. Thanks guys!!
This is a second hand shop, you can call it a pawn shop, if you want to. You can bring something of value to this place and they will offer you cash. If you accept the offer you get one month to buy it back, if not you lose it and they will sell it. So if you want some cash, bring it in. One warning, they give you less money than what the actual value is of what you brought in, so think about that.
Staff not communicative, apparently easy to get annoyed when asked about cheap items. I was looking for a temporary computer mouse and, for the same price, I preferred an used Microsoft Ready Mouse for sustainability reasons over a new mouse since the employer didn’t bother to answer my question about their differences. I ended up with a mouse which blocks continuously. I suppose Cash converters didn’t bother to test it.
Couple of months ago, I bought a speaker with a year warranty today they told me that they can't help me because it has to do either the battery which is inside of that thing. And I will have to pay for the battery and the reparation : I'll never a single thing there!
Usually not too bad but I just got a bad deal with a NON working network hub. You would think they refund it under warranty right? Well in fact I had to explain my problem to 5 different persons, waiting in line twice, and the last person told me the warranty period is 2 days for this. It was the 4th working day after the sale... And he also explained very politely that it has been tested and working before the sale. But maybe I should do a firmware upgrade to get it working again. Well so maybe it was not working then or what? Anyways I was so pissed by then that I left the item at the shop don't go buy it guys, its broken! and i don't intend to buy anything from them anymore.
I was planning to buy a small go pro camera for my vacation. I got at the cash register were i saw that the charger they had for the camera was broken. They had a new one and i asked if they could test it for me that is were the small lady at the desk started shouting at me saying that she is not supposed to do that at the cash desk because i am wasting the time of the other guests in line. She warned me that the last costumer that did that was punched in the face by the other costumers waiting in line. During my waiting in line i heard her menacing at least 3 other people that she will call the cops if she doesn't get the respect she deserves. Still asking myself how a character like this is allowed to work with people. The photo i posted is not take by me but found on the internet
