The whole concept of state controlled choice is truly abhorrent. Add in the BC governments appalling inefficiency and prices are ridiculous. On a positive note, the staff at this branch are helpful and friendly. They tried hard to find a popular Scottish whiskey I wanted as a gift.

Cashier was very helpful in packing our stuff into a box today. Very creative. This store frequently does not have Kootenay True Ale in stock. Creston, the town where Kootenay is brewed is only an hour away. Makes you wonder.

This is a great liquor store! Fantastic selection of hard liquor, and wines. Lots of local selection, which I really appreciate. I’ve been coming here since 2005, and some of the staff seem to have been here that entire time. They are always helpful and friendly!

This is one of the best stores considering the size of Kimberley. The selection is outstanding especially the speciality gins, the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to help you out.... even lifting heavy boxes into your car. This is an example of how a business `makes my day`.

Pretty solid selection for a smaller town. Good craft beer options that change regularly and a robust offering of BC and international wine. The layout in this branch is really well organised and saves wandering aisles.

Better Italian & Portuguese wine selections than most small BCLBs, and very helpful & friendly staff!

The store is untidy and the staff shout at each other quite a lot in front of customers. I went in one time to find all the staff hiding in the back, they seemed to be playing some kind of game. I am all up for games but not when you should be working guys. When I ask about it they just giggle and look away. Also one member of staff brings in his dog and it is very aggressive.

Great staff! They have made sure to order a beer for us that they normally don't carry. They always ensure they have a few cases even though we only get it once or twice a month.

Need more choices for coolers but overall good variety
