My mom went there for a sim swap today and whoever dealt with her must be glad I wasn't there. She is absolutely heart broken at the service she got and how rude the lady that helped her was. She told my mom not to tell her how to do her job. Such rudeness should not be tolerated. We are customers not a charity case. If people are unhappy with their work they should not let it affect the way they relate to customers. Please don't even apologize because it will not be sincere. Do better by training your staff and doing quality checks on their performance. Make sure they also have name tags because the specific individuals should be held accountable. That's how you will make this right. Absolutely appalling.
The lady who helped me was very rude. I went there for sim swap and I couldn't get help.
My sister went there for a SIM swap. She was given horrible service. The lady spoke with food in her mouth. She ignored all queries and made her wait for an hour and she didn't mask up. The service from our local businesses needs to improve.
Worst shop ever so today my wife went to do a sim swap.I use the sim but registered under her name.all the documents in hand and they are busy asking her silly questions...What more do they want while the proof of ownership is right infront of them....I am never going to use cell c anymore people should think twice before subscribing to Cell C
So my girlfriend has a contract with Cell C. I just got her a new phone Contract . . . Now Cell C is giving her hardtime to close or cancel the contract. . . Staff at maponya mall keep telling us that the system is down or they can not cancel the contract and we need to call customer care. . If we do so, we are told to go to the nearest cell c branch of which its Maponyamall CellC - with employeeswho has attitude. . . But it's not surprising as their network is always having issues on certain areas. . .same with how they hire staff. . . They just take anyone who is looking for a job. . . Their employees at Maponya either are not trained or they have found a loophole which is saying "The system is down". Even Home Affairs nolonger uses that line Cell C is quick to open a contract for you but beats around the bushes should they have to canvel thier poor network contract. I will call the branch to report this after typing this comment. . .and will come back with the name of the person who gave me hardtimes at Maponya. . . Thank God Cell C jabulani mall os still closed because I would've been complaining about two poor services .Cell C, doti shame!
Hey @CellC, I haven't experienced any problems with your services ever since I took out my contract phone in 2019 until recently when I have been calling contract cancelations to cancel the contract. I've been calling the 084 143 number with no luck, instead what I get on the receiving end is that the number does not exist. I have called more than 10 times today, even resorted to calling the Direct into line, they too couldn't transfer my call multiple times. This has been really strenous on my side as I know that I need to give 30days notice.
service was poor. the lady was helping two of us at ones the sad part was my phone require password that i dont have.they've inserted their password without me knowing.and when I call Maponya I spoke to Sibusiso was not interested in helping, he told me I need to go to the shop so that they can unlock my cellphone
You have the worst customer service ever with incompetent staff. I submitted my cell phone for repairs & two weeks later after I had paid the access fee I was told that the claim has been rejected because the store submitted an incorrect IMEI number when applying for the claim. and no one is picking up the phone at the store
To Whom It May Concern: Today, I came to Cell C in Maponya with a router problem and was assisted by the gentleman called Hlulani Mayindi. What a professional indeed. I am sold to Cell C. Regards, Bheki
Great customer service ever...... employees are friendly, you walk in with no expectations but walk out assisted so well
