Is one of the best coffee shop. Nice sit down area inside the shop. Even a meeting roomService: 4/5
So the coffee and service is great. Awesome setup but I gather that they do not want you to stay there for longer than a coffee as the music gets louder meaning that meetings are generally discouraged. Its strange as they have a meeting room there lol. Don't go here if you want to have an online meeting and a coffee. It sounded like a newscafe! Good for a quick face to face catch up.
My first visit - and probably the last . Dark depressing atmosphere, although I liked the setup of the shop. My Americano was really not nice. I am a coffee drinker so I know my coffee and beans. I found this blend to be super high in acidity with zero undertones. I ended up drinking half a cup. I think the machine may not have been clean as I picked up excessive powder residue. Worth noting that it was load shedding hour though 14:30 I think. Because I was so engrossed in my meeting I didn't raise my concern, I just sipped small bits till I had enough heartburn. Anyway I don't like the Motherland brew, won't be visiting any of their outlets again.
Lovely Motherland branch. It offers indoor/outdoor seating areas, friendly service and great coffee. Parking is safe and the experience is a calm one despite being a few meters away from Rivonia Rd.
I would not recommend Motherland coffee. There food is very over priced for what you get. Not to mention their food was terrible! They served off chicken and the portions were not what you pay for. If I could give negative stars I would.

Why on earth do you open the stakling doors wide on a winter's morning...... Maybe you don't want people to stay ! I'll come back next summer.
Great coffee, but the parking is a mission.
