I drive from my factory an extra 2 kms to rather buy HW at build it rather than go to buco hw. They are in the same "useless" category as builders wh. Build it keeps upgrading themselves and I am usually pleasantly surprised with the good selection i find there. They are on their way to greatness!
I went to buy plumbing stuff there and since I'm not a plumber and I wasn't sure of the size, two of Build It staff was there with me trying to separate the sample that I had in order to get the right size it took us almost 15min, after we finally get the right size I didn't have enough money I was R10 short and they guy just said "man you've been here for a long time, you had reasons to leave but didn't so I'm gonna give it to you for R70 instead of R80.
The service level has dropped tremendously, in 2018 I got great service from one of the sales people and today,the service wasn't there I had to beg for help.
Shopping experience was so horrible. You go in the store there you find big dogs and they say they don't bite. My daughter was crying like hell. Luckily I was with my wife so they stayed outside.
Well stocked with variety of Hardware items.... Nice, Clean and pleasant store......
