Chameleon Village Reptile Park And Zoo

Great tourist destination with a huge selection of activities to do, full day activities to be precise. Starting with taking pictures with the beautiful human-size art sculptures from the parking lot towards the main entrance, then go through the huge 500 square metre art market with paintings, sculptures, animal skins, etc, there's about 5 jungle gyms & swimming pools for kids & adults exclusive to restaurant customers & their families. Move on to the North of the village & find a monkey feeding cages then the reptile park right next to it, the Lion park and off-road go-karts also available.etc

Amazing set up with the village in place. Locals have a rich culture with a hint of other African countries flair. Nice pool area for kiddies to enjoy whilst parents can sit around and enjoy snacks from local small stores. Lots of souvenirs available, something for everyone to take home with price points not bad at all. Many hand crafted goods! Halaal food is hard to come by however overall experience is nothing but fun!

This was a very disappointing outing for my family. The gardens and cages are unkept, cages are falling apart, the water dams are very dirty. Garden tools are just laying around. This was not the R120 worth. However, the reptile park part was very nice, clean, and well kept. And all the animals in the park are well kept. In general 7/10

This place is great. Went this past Sunday and we paid to go thinking it was for the snake park only. Afterwards you have access to the bird park in harties. That is value for money. The show was good and the walk about was good there are other animals there. Like I said value for money and friendly staff.

My son and his friends had the best time for his 10th birthday party. We as adults also had a great time. Thank you so much to Anja who arranged, decorated and always communicated with me throughout. I really appreciate everything she did. I give her 110 out of 100. I'm so grateful, we'll definitely be back.

Had no idea this place existed! What a cool find and totally worth the drive! Animals are well taken care of, animals are mostly exotic so you see different and new - a great learning experience. Then there is also a market or sorts and a swimming pool - we went during the week so it was super quiet but I imagine it gets quite busy over a weekend. Honestly a great day out.

I had the honour of undergoing the venomous snake identification, handling and first aid course with two friends under the supervision of Jac-Louis. It was a fantastic experience and Louis showed nothing but extensive professionalism both in the theoretical and physical part of the course. If anyone is looking for venomous snake experience this is the place to be and the man to work with, I will be back again in the future for more courses.
