I have scrapped two cars now using Charles Trent with the second one being an unattended collection and I have to say both collections were perfect, I received a quote online, accepted and was called within an hour to arrange collection, the money was paid within two days of car being collected. I would 100% recommend and will definitely use again. I found the whole process very easy and hassle free, the communication with the office and collection driver was excellent on the phone and via email. 5 star performance.
An excellent company to deal with - their staff are friendly and helpful. They called to let me know it was ready to collect within a few hours, as promised it was awaiting me when I arrived. The part supplied for my daughter's car was in excellent condition and when fitted worked perfectly. Thoroughly recommended..!
I ordered an alternator. My mechanic wouldn't fit it because there was a noise in at least one of the bearings. I had to get it refurbished with new bearings, a part of the regulator was broken and needed replaced plus rotational electrical contacts were replaced due to being very well worn I was shown just how bad they were. Part wasn't fit for purpose. I could have got my old alternator fixed instead and saved part price and £25 postage I sent this information to the company three weeks ago. No response yet they seem to try to manage these Google feedbacks - damage control, not genuine customer care. They have my money, so tough. I suggest that you ignore their hollow replies and try anywhere else for your parts. Otherwise I might be getting your negative feedback too. Feedback on Charles Trent reply:- You already know every detail of the problem situation - regardless of what you state. We have been in email contact back and forward. More damage control! Attitude confirmed!
Warning: check parts are ready for collection before going! There's nothing on the website, the order email or the invoice they email to say you should wait until parts are ready to collect. 2 hour journey from West London to be told by the guy on the counter that the parts were not ready yet. He was very apologetic and I suspect its not the first time he's faced dissatisfied customers second star is for him. Come on guys, help your customers and your team out. It can't be that hard to tell people to wait until parts are ready? Cheers
Trents have very bad customer service. My car was hit by one of their trucks in December and it’s still not been resolved. I made a complaint and I was told he would get back to me as soon as possible but they still haven’t. I also got told to stop calling to chase it up because I was “holding up the lines”
Not a single star deserved! Made an order 8 days ago and havent yet been dispatched! I call and i dont get an answer. After few emails i get an answer, where gets said that we will update you later today but yet no answer st the end of the day. WORST PART DEALER I EVER HAD TO DO WITH!!!
