There exist many security and safety apps and devices in the current world but almost all of these have a fatal flaw: they require action by the user.
All the apps require the user to do something to activate an emergency situation. unfortunately there exist many accidents where you may lose consciousness and actively seeking help is not an option.
With Check On Me, you are required to respond to the service using basic cell operations (so no smart phones necessary) to indicate you are okay when prompted. If you do not respond with your saftey code in a certain amount of time we will assume an emergency has taken place. We will contact whoever you have nominated to inform them so they can check on you.
