Terrible experience. Will never use them again. Not sure what the fees cover as there is no teaching or support. They basically set 2 exams a year. Any revision or exam preparation is charged separately. You also pay separately for the first and third term assessments, which is not compulsory but without them you will have no idea how your child is coping as there are no other tests or assessments during the year. Textbooks are awful, worse than the government system, riddled with errors. They also made errors with the exam timetable and reports. Even when you call them out on their errors there is no apology or concern. You are usually ignored or they defend their system to no end. Even their exams had errors so I don't know who actually sets them, they were obviously not qualified. Admin staff were fine, the academic head is the problem. She is clueless and rude.
Bad academic set up, even worse communication channels. It seems the only thing they are good at is defending their excuse for a school.
Pathetic, can never get a response. Work missing from curriculum and can never get a response. They were quick to take my money though. Absolutely regret using Clonard. Be warned fellow parents. This is not something I will ever use again.
I used Clonard many years ago and I would recommend them to anyone starting out with homeschooling. I'm so glad you are all still going. God Bless you!
