Coastal Car Care, a one-stop car wash and wax centre with a well-stocked refreshment kiosk on the premises, opened to the public early in October 2014 and is proving to be hugely popular among the discerning members of the local community, visitors to and travellers through Port Alfred.
Formerly based in Gauteng, Fred and Tracy looked for a suitable business to start in this jewel of the Sunshine Coast, picked Eco Wash water-saving technology and devised Coastal Car Care. Both individuals have extensive business and marketing skills and applied their knowledge to brand and launch their business successfully.
Coastal Car Care has already branched out to the washing of aircraft (a first for any Eco Wash operator) at the local airfield and boats from the Port Alfred Yacht Club. Plans for expansion to neighbouring areas are afoot.
