A 2-day stay at the Loft apartment, felt like a 7-day retreat. I run a business called Resilient People and focus on Physical, Emotional & Mental Resilience. QUALITY Sleep is the foundation for all three ... so sleeping on a Coco-Mat mattress was sublime! But not only that, the layout, space, decor and beautiful attention to detail in the Loft ... gave me a 'retreat" experience. Thank you for the lovely home-made foods and drinks and also the focus on being eco-friendly. I'll be coming back for another '7-day retreat'. This was an off-the scale magnificent experience!
We were privileged enough to enjoy both loft apartments. It is almost impossible not to swoon over every aspect to the stay - the incredibly helpful and welcoming hosts, that welcomed us with a freshly baked focaccia and other treats; the amazing design elements; the attention to detail in assisting us navigate the complex choices in settling on an optimal base, mattress and topper solution; the incredible location and views over Table Mountain and the city; the spacious and well equipped lofts and balconies… wish there were 7 stars to give!
I have never had such a good shopping experience in my life, not only is the product of the highest standard but the service went so far beyond my expectations I can honestly say its been a complete and perfect pleasure. Denè was always professional, helpful, friendly and generous. The set up crew was ridiculously efficient and kind, and I have honestly never slept better in my life. We now have this problem where we can’t go away anywhere except the cocomat Lofts because we KNOW our bed is better than any other hotel! I cannot recommend cocomat highly enough, for the product definitly, but also for the service that felt like being treated at an excellent hotel. I just loved every minute of it. I now believe your bed should be way up there with buying your first house, car or any other life-significant purchase. That’s how much cocomat meant to me!
The lofts are absolutely beautiful! Loved the attention to detail, and had the best sleep of our lives on the mattresses. We can't wait to receive our very own. Thank you to the CocoMat Cape Town team for our wonderful stay.

Some days ago I walked past Coco-Mat and noticed what looked like an adult sized wooden bicycle in the store. I walked into a very warm welcome from Lida and so began a very happy few days. I won't gabble on for to long with the details but after receiving some fantastic background on the store and products, mattresses, top mattresses and pillows, wooden bicycles, I returned after doing a little research on Coco-Mat and purchased one of side sleeper pillows. I've been sleeping on it for the last several nights and It is, quite simply, a revelation. Narkissos II, has a slight indentation shaped and dipped perfectly where my head rests. Outside of the dip is raised and offers excellent support for my neck. The bottom line is, the pillow is super comfortable and I'm sleeping better. Can't thank you enough Lida. Excellent understanding of the products and loads of patience as I tried pillow after pillow, again and again with a break for a cup of tea in-between.: Very happy indeed. Head down to Coco-Mat and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Fraser
After long consideration, we bought a Coco-Mat mattress last year and not a single regret. The mattresses sleep divine and the special pillow for side-sleepers really works. The service and aftercare has been remarkable, I would certainly recommended them.
Such a beautifully unique spot. The attention to detail is unparalleled, with interesting accents everywhere you look. Conveniently located within close proximity to an array of great restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend!
Stunning place that attracts you to come in. Very friendly well informed staff who makes sure you feel comfortable, treat you with snacks and drinks while laying in bed - feels like on cloud. Unique experience and opportunity to learn something new and improve your sleep.
We had two unforgettable days in the Loft. Just amazing and highly recommendable. Thanks to Lida and her team.
