Description

Thank you for stopping by. We are a relatively new Coffee shop in Bloemfontein, embracing the growing coffee culture in our lovely town. Needless to say, we believe that coffee is not just another hot beverage that give you your daily fix, for us it's more about the coffee experience... From the wonderful smell of freshly ground coffee to the wonderful warm sensation of freshly brewed coffee to the wonderful chats you have with your friends, family, perhaps your soulmate of even the time you set aside for yourself, thinking about where life is taking you.. All of this contribute to the experience we find associated with your daily cup of Jo. Although we do not roast our own coffee just yet, we are happy to say that we do get our coffee from one of the oldest coffee roasters in SA, Mastertons. Personally we adore their coffee and we know you would too. We always try to ensure that you get the best cup of coffee each time and if you find it not to be the case, we will try our best to correct our mistake.

Not only do we strive to serve you the best coffee, but we go to lengths to make sure we serve fantastic food as well. Our whole theme around our shop, is the Mediterranean cuisine, more specifically Israeli Cuisine. So if you are in the mood to taste something different, you know where to go.

"What makes CoffeeTalks unique from other restaurants is that we offer more than just a service, but an experience. When you drink your freshly brewed cup of coffee or wipe your Hummus with freshly baked pita, you can also sit back and soak up the ambience. The restaurant is situated on our permaculture farm where we are working towards self sustainability and we opened up the farm to the public for inspiration, but also critique in order for us to grow as well."

Such a tranquil, cosy place to sit and work if you work remotely. Service and food is great. Roaring fire against the winter cold is an added bonus. Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian options to choose from. Freshly baked bread to buy as well. Kid-friendliness: Loads of outside space with very tame, roaming ducks, a pond and grass. It's beautiful!
Delicious shawarma! Great tahini and vegetable blend made it a next level sandwich. Fresh made juice and coffee was excellent as well. A nice selection of indoor and outdoor seating in the garden.
Great place with wide open, relaxing scenery and atmosphere. I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch and even met the owner who is super friendly and attentive. The food is great and very unique, excellent coffee choices. The place is also dog friendly with animals such as ducks roaming around the landscape. Coffee Talks is a great destination for families and dates or if you just want to relax in nature and calm surroundings. Five stars. I will definitely be going back!
Best falafel you'll find for sale in Bloemfontein! Also, it has a quiet secrecy about the atmosphere that really seem to lighten any worries you might arrive with. Vegetarian options: A great place for any veggie!
Calm atmosphere. Relaxed. Very spacious. Lends itself to private meetings and chats because outdoor tables are set up far from each other 10 meters or more. Each time I've been has been a good experience. The Israeli food and variety of tea is also something different and worth tying. I've had the Shakahuka and Falafel. Each beautifully prepared and tasty. Wheelchair accessibility: I specifically enquired about wheelchair accessibility. There is wheelchair accessible parking. A big lawn to navigate to the building. I'm not sure I'd want to take just anybody in a wheelchair, only because there isn't a smooth path leading to the building. However. They did tell me bathrooms aren't ideally set up for wheelchairs, but that they are wheelchair friendly and welcome visitors in wheelchairs. They also showed me. I would take a physically strong and healthy paraplegic for sure, and Im going to. A frail person, I'm not sure. Give it a try. I trust one may manage quite well and it's a nice experience so give ot a go.
A beautiful place out of town. It is very calm, and quiet, with beautiful scenery. I really enjoyed the food, coffee and the cold fresh juice in summer.
What a beautiful setting and lovely people, we thoroughly enjoyed our coffee, muffin and croissant. Will return.Food: 5/5
Found by accident and I would say is the best accidental place I've come across. It's a hidden gem of a place and can only be found by recommendation. Buffets are served on Sundays for breakfast and lunch. Owner and their staff are the most friendliest folks running the place. Highly recommended to come with friends and family for a lovely time to eat, bond and for the children to run around barefoot.
What a lovely place. Its very relaxing and beautiful theirFood: 5/5
Lovely, serene calm atmosphere. Beautiful scenery and great food! If you are looking for a place to relax, it's just a short drive outside the city and you won't regret it. Had a lovely morning watching mother ducks walking around with their chicks.
