Complete Marathons specialises in the organising and directing of sports management services and creating unforgettable event experiences aiming to provide a broader service to the overall competitive sports experience.
Our initiatives…
1) Deliver Services and Products which include specialised packages designed specifically to assist local and international athletes in optimising their proficiency at competitive events. Our aim is to provide supporting concierge and promotional services and events to national ultra-marathon, marathon and sporting events in South Africa.
2) Based on our teams experience in the event industry we further aim to develop a number of our own sporting activities such as running events and offering our services to manage existing athletic events.
3) Over and above the concierge services and events, Complete Marathons recognised the need to assist disadvantaged athletes within South Africa and to this end the model for Complete Marathon Runner’s Village was born.
The Complete Marathon Runner’s Village has been created to assist and house disadvantaged runners from South Africa in a safe, secure centralized venue giving these athletes the opportunity to concentrate more fully on their race, without the undue stress that often results from managing the financial strains of accommodation and nutrition.
The overarching aim of the Runner’s Village is to unite relevant corporate entities in funding this most worthwhile of causes, with the knowledge that their support of this initiative will not only add to their B-BBEE Score Card rating but also earn them the respect and admiration of thousands of athletes.

At the heart of Complete Marathons are renowned Comrades star, South African running legend and nine time winner Bruce Fordyce, Gillian Fordyce, Mark Church, Gillian Sclanders and Richard Webb (Directors of Complete Marathons). Project Manager is Delmaine Blignault who manages all aspects of products and services, marketing, communications and administration.

* BRUCE FORDYCE ROUTE TOUR - Whether or not a runner has run the event before, getting a pre-race look at the race route will be immensely beneficial and it’s a fundamental part of the service we will be offering in the days prior to the event. Our guests will be taken on a preparatory drive over the race route to familiarize themselves with all the bends, hills and straights they can expect to encounter as they run from start to finish.
Included with your tour, each athlete/guest will receives refreshment juices and a snack hamper.

• Race Support Marquees at appropriate intervals along the race route
• Runners have access to pre-packed personal items required during the race e.g. sunblock, replacement socks, shoelaces, gels, protein shakes
• Exclusive ablution facilities
WHERE:
Visible Race Support marquees will be positioned appropriate intervals along the race route, manned securely by Complete Marathons Crew
WHEN:
PRE RACE: Drop off Race Support items at pre-determined venue
RACE DAY: Access your personal items during the race at one or all marquee points with the aid of Race Support Crew
POST RACE: Collect post-race items at pre-determined venue

An after-party for our guests during which time they can celebrate their triumphs and swap race highlights with fellow competitors, family and friends in a relaxed and fun environment. Eat, drink and be merry is the motto for the after party.
