By far one of the warmest places to be on a Saturday in winter! The food was exceptional, by far the best grilled halloumi cheese ! Also it's such a vibe mann ! Even a kids area ! Vegetarian options: Salads etc ! Kid-friendliness: Full play area, outside. Jumping castle ! Parking: Parking available for all! Wheelchair accessibility: The is a ramp to get inside!

Manager really not really receptive to the importance of my review.... took it as a joke and undermined me... perhaps needs working on what we do as Google guides.!!!! Have no idea what we do... should be addressed.... was there again this evening 24 May. Tried to apologize for bad review from the last time but was basically told that they don't care. My review did not matter. The food, drinks and service was awesome but once again after trying to clear the air with the manager Frank, I was dismissed as unimportant and disrespected. This has become personal. He is the son of the owner... I am not taking this further but this needs to be addressed as our reviews are not taken seriously and this is important because if this is how I am treated then how are other complaints or dissatisfactions treated by this company... really unethical. I feel totally undermined and treated as unimportant... I know I am not their only customer but I cannot accept the dismissive way I was treated. My reviews are always positive but I am extremely dissatisfied with their attitudes. There are many of us who go there and it would be awesome if they took our reviews seriously.

A lovely hidden gem. Great place for lunch / dinner with a good vibe when it gets busy. Keep a look out for their specials. They well worth while, like half price pizza on a Monday and their R10 shooter options. Make sure you go hungry through, as for some reason they don’t allow take-aways for any left overs on their pizza special. Seems a waste!

One of my favourite Restaurants by far, and i work in the entertainment industry. The culture amongst the staff is very healthy, you can see it in how everything is run. From John the car guard, right through to Zack the owner. Thank you for truly caring for your clients, and artists. Even though i am from Roodepoort i will come past as regularly as i can

The food is Good, and the vibe is relaxing. A 300ml coke sells for R22 each which I feel its a rip off. Guess they have to make money somewhere. Luckily the beers are less expensive per ml.

I love going to Cools..... Not only are the staff friendly and attentive, the service is great, the food is delicious and budget friendly and the atmosphere is always awesome. Well done on all you do and may you guys continue to offer Benoni a great place to go..... Whether it's for Breakfast, Dinner or just a night out with entertainment!!! Its always nice dropping in at cools, I personally love their pizza, hubby not so much, they have nice specials on drinks, some nights your lucky and get an awesome dj, other nights they do their bit for charity. The waiters are all super friendly, the barmen are great fun, and usually there is no drama like in many other placesFood: 4/5

Pizzas, base awfull, price good on special. Wouldn't eat a pizza here again. Go to Pizza Perfect, Del Fornos, for a pizza to see what it should taste like. T Bone special with spinach and pumpkin 5 stars, top notch, no complaints, unbeatable. Seafood dishes, tartar sauce is terrible, one of those hospitality 5L jobs, absolutely terrible, I make better tartar sauce at home. Sqid heads, besides the tartar sauce that is awfull, they are too big and the basting is mediocre. You want to taste a squid head go to Piatto or Fishaways and then you will see what I mean. Drinks specials are very good, waiters are excellent. Hadno joy from managers. Wife sat on a chair, recently painted yellow, her pants were yellow with paint, reported it to a manageress, she said sorry. Really? They say in Portuguese, " Desculpa nao pagar". Sorry doesn't pay. All inall I would go there again, but only for selected items.

Very nice venue, service is a bit slow and there seems to be a bit of a language barrier with some staff. Overall not a bad place or vibe. Safe parking available.Food: 5/5
