UPDATED REVIEW: Responses from Creative Housewares to complaints left on this platform is MERELY AN EYE-BLIND TO CREATE THE ILLUSION OF GOOD CUSTOMER CARE. After being invited by Creative Housewares to contact them for further assistance with my Taurus cordless vacuum cleaner, nothing happened after more than a month. So, my initial estimation of Creative Housewares has not changed - THEY SELL CHEAP JUNK AT EXPENSIVE PRICES AND THEIR AFTER SALES SERVICE IS CRINGE WORTHY. If you want to spare yourself a lot of misery, definitely do not buy anything from this company. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought a Taurus 18V Aspirador Escoba Cordless Vacuum Cleaner in 2019 for just over R2000. One month before the warranty expired, it packed up. We had to pay for in warranty repairs, butit came as no surprise. However, what riled me up most is that the machine was spotless and I got it back covered in deep scratches, gouges and scuff marks. On top of this, the machine still had the exact same problem it was returned for. Creative Housewares and Takealot simply shrugged their shoulders and said I should return the machine again. I decided to take the R2000 knock for the inferior quality Taurus vacuum and decided to boycott both Creative Housewares and Takealot for their indifference and atrocious after sales service. Taurus is also expensive yet cheap rubbish and I will avoid this brand at all cost. An all round terrible experience and a very expensive lesson... Burnt my fingers badly with Creative Housewares, Takealot and Taurus!

Purchased a Taurus Jug blender from Makro, used it for 3 weeks and the jug cracked from the inside, returned to exchange the jug, just to hear they will not assist at all. We have been using Phillips blenders for years without cracking jugs, same products being blended, same washing methods everything. Yet they still argue that it has nothing to do with quality. So update to this. 2 days later, I paid for a new jug, and they send a used, dirty second hand one. Rediculous.
