Lovely waterfalls with picnic facilities and walking trails. Clean and well maintained.
Absolutely beautiful waterfalls just a short walk from the parking area. Hiking trails are steep in areas but full of large indigenous and exotic trees. Definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful place with an amazing breeze and views. It’s also a nice place to chill with family and friends.
Paid the falls an impromptu visit and so glad we did. Even just the drive to the entrance is worth while....beautiful forested mountain road but take it easy, rocky in places! The falls have a lovely well-maintained picnic area with a clean bathroom facility. Be careful - the rocks can be slippery and keep an eye on your little ones. R35 entrance fee....cash only please. Pack a picnic and immerse yourself in nature. You'll be glad you did! P.S. No swimming allowed
Extremely beautiful and relaxing place. It's quite a long way up the mountain with long unpaved roads, so if you are planning to go try to use an off-road car and if you have a low suspension car do not attempt to visit as your car can be badly damaged from the big rocks on the road. But if you make it all the way up the entrance fee is R30 for adults and free under 10 years of age. And it is definitely worth it
Waterfall is beautiful, but unfortunately no swimming is allowed , next time i will swim ‍ illegally; short hiking trails , good spot for picnic ,
Beautiful falls wish we were allowed to get into the water
The road to these falls is a bit treacherous but it is worth the effort. The falls are impressive and there is a big, well maintained picnic area with ablution facilities. The entrance fee is R35 per person, but it is worth it.
Beautiful natural site Pity irresponsible people have resulted in no more swimming allowed. The staff collecting money at the gate are not the most presentable or informative. DON'T FORGET TO BRING CASH, FOR ENTRY
Fantastic hidden gem of Makgobaskloof! Well worth the drive there. Make sure you use a 4 wheel drive to get there!
