Professional service, private, efficient, good communication
Worse experience of my life. I started the process then few days after decided that I do not want to proceed as I only learnt afterwards what it all entails and the costs involved and how they make the payments to themselves before your creditors receive payment. I then told the debt counselor I do not want to proceed as she did not explain everything to us in detail. After I said that she became very defensive and she trying to persuade us to continue. We made it clear that we do not want anything to do with debt review. My name however was still flagged and now all my accounts are blocked. The debt counselor refuses to submit the documents stating that we are not over indebted after I sent her all the documents. I even paid up one of my accounts in full and sent her a paid up letter. Iv been called a liar and this debt counselor is trying to force us to be in debt review as she insists we are over indebted. She has no clients service skills and doesn't know how to handle clients. I sent a email to the boss and manager about the whole situation however he is ignoring me. This debt counselor is doing everything in her power to make things difficult for me. The founder of this institution and this debt counselor shares the same surname so they might be related and that would explain why he is not replying to my emails or when I call he is never available. Be careful people. Let debt review be your last resort. These people are supposed to help you instead in my case it ruin my life and it costing me more debt. I was sent a bill from them of over R9000. When I queried it as they basically didn't do much as I canceled the process only then was the invoice relooked. I then was send an invoice of just below R1000. Which I paid and I was told after paying it my named would be removed from this debt review. I'm still struggling today. Imagine I just kept quiet and paid them that R9000+. They almost ripped me off in broad daylight. I was taken advantage of as I was vulnerable and desperate when I approached them and when I decided to stop the process everything turned sour.
