Without a doubt one of the best companies you can deal with for 3D printers and other diy electronics thing. They will go above and beyond in customer service, wide range of products available, rapid responses. I have made 3 orders from them and all have gone through with no hiccups and delays on their side. 5 star service no questions asked
I had a really unpleasant experience. Your customer support is cold and very unhelpful, it's the first time I have ever visited a site's terms a condition this much in my entire life to the point where I came to conclusion that the reason, I might just be getting this treatment might just be because they don't want me to buy from them. I have personally never felt like this at any other store in my life.
Ordered online. Parcel was supposed to be delivered 4 days ago. Contact DIY Electronics, they promise to make an alternate arrangement, but then don't. Their courier partner is on strike. Their phone just rings. What I needed for this week will only be delivered.... who knows? Something has happened to DIY since the last time I ordered... and not a good thing, that's for sure.
Really want to support local business, but you are always "out of stock". Admittedly, I've never purchased from you, so cant rate the experience. I would definitely be a client if you had the stock. Unfortunately my money is spent elsewhere.
Not sure how to rate this instance. DIY electronics are amazing and my package was dispatched early and arrived early. However the delivery person who delivered my package was extremely rude and unprofessional. The courier company is Collivery. I love DIY electronics but their chosen courier is pathetic. I hate to give a low rating but I guess delivery is part of the experience so with pain I rate this as such.
Good online store however there are a bunch of products that are always out if order like their led packs. Staff are friendly when you call in to ask questions. The website is well structured but can be slow at times.
#ripoff One of the most slothful 'online stores' on the planet. They will charge and make you wait even after indicating a pickup from the store itself. The patently false excuses tendered by their alleged Manager, CINDY can't even fulfil the SIMPLEST of orders. Avoid at all costs! There are viable REAL businesses online and brick & mortar that can do more for LESS!
It's nice shopping with them, had about +- 5 transactions / purchases with them mainly filament for 3d printing and spare parts always friendly and helpful.
I've been using DIYElectronics for all my oddball electronic needs for about 2 years now, 3d printer parts, arduinos, raspberry pi's, variety of sensors, probes and other geeky stuff and every order went flawlessly, my experience with you guys have been great. PS, I didn't get a sticker with my last order lol!
Best service. DIYElectronics usually delivers next day, so ordering the Monday and get it the Tuesday whoop whoop They in Durban and we are Gauteng /Free state, however even over Cyber Monday when there are delays due to larger volumes their delivery came much quicker than Takealot's Black Friday items. Prices are very reasonable and they keep quality. Will buy again and again and again. Thanks again for your awesome service and that you pack the items properly.
