"I qualified as a medical doctor with MBChB at the University of Pretoria in 2005. Thereafter my love of surgery was kindled whilst completing internship and community service programs in Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape. My specialty training was completed at Tygerberg Hospital University of Stellenbosch and I was admitted as a Fellow of the College of Surgeons of South Africa in 2014."
