Dr Maikoo is absolutely brilliant!!! I have a history of bad teeth, especially my front tooth which I broke when I was 16. Dr Maikoo executed the perfect implant last year, which is flawless in every way. Apart from my front tooth she has addressed a multitude of dental problems which she has patiently been nursing and correcting over the last few years. I love how she takes the time to explain every action and asks permission to do proceed. I have also been a bit of a public figure and it blows my mind that every time I've had to speak publicly I would get a call or a message from her checking on my teeth and my smile line :-. How's that for a dentist!! It has been a costly process but money has never been an issue with Dr Maikoo. 'Pay me when you can!' she says. Her greatest concern being that she was able to add quality to my life by fixing my teeth. And that she continues to do for myself, my family and my staff. Thank you Dr Maikoo. You're the best!!!
Dr Maikoo is a wonderful dentist. We have been using her for about 7 years now. I really dont handle pain well and I have found that she is always very gentle. Dr Maikoo is very informative and she discusses things with you before and during any procedure. I cannot recommend her enough. She is also amazing with children. My son adores her and actually looks forward to his dental check ups and seeing her. If I could give her more stars I would!
I have been going to Dr Maikoo for many years and I always get the best dental care. Dr Maikoo always treats me like family and explains everything in detail. She is an amazing dentist with a heart of gold. Dr Maikoo will always go out her way to make sure her patients get the best. I highly recommend her to all.
A few years back my mother took me to Dr Maikoo just to clean my teeth only to find out i have a gum disease. My wisdom teeth had to be surgically extracted to start dealing with it and that operation was succesful. Ever since i started my treatment she has been doing what she does best and i have no doubt that she renders the best dental services.
I've been with Dr Maikoo for over 8 years now, and I must say - happy would be an understatement. The journey has been nothing but blissful and has resulted in me being more confident with myself and my smile. I had appalling teeth when I first went to visit Dr Maikoo, to a point where I feel like showing everybody my before & after pictures. To you doc and the team, you've been doing exceptionally well. I'm so happy of the progress you've made from the Duzimed days to you having your own practice. I'm so proud of you. Keeping going strong.
It is such a pleasure to work at Dr Maikoo & Associates, I joined at the beginning of lockdown treating dental emergencies as a locum dentist. I've decided to stay on thereafter. The practice follows a strict protocol, be it administrative or infection control protocols, that being even before the covid pandemic. We have the best technologies available with our dental laboratory on site, allowing us to have optimal treatment for each of our patients. We love our patients & make them feel at ease while being treated.
Dr Maikoo is by far THE BEST in town when it comes to dental work. Aside from being TECHNICALLY SKILLED and EXPERIENCED, she’s HONEST when it comes to a condition that needs referral rather than trying to extort you like other dentists do. So POPULAR to a point that you’d have to book in advance to be seen, but also KIND enough to squeeze you in because of her GENEROUS spirit and LOVE for her patients. Seeing her interact with patients and it’s admirable to see her so HUMBLE as many people tend to blame the dentist when things go wrong in their mouth due to that person’s own negligence.
I am still in pain almost 8 years later. I was mislead to believe that I have anomalous root canals and so I needed repetitive procedures. After a few years of continuous pain I was referred to a prosthodontist after seeing Dr Maikoo. As a result of the dentistry and prosthodontics a tooth was fractured which then had to be extracted. It has cost me hugely. I now have a massive gap in my mouth, my teeth are moving and I cannot eat properly for the better part of a year. My tongue also can't form words as it used to, until the implant has been completed. The emotional, physical, psychological and financial toll almost one decade later is shocking. I have to take horrendous pain killers again with side effects and I prefer just to bear the pain rather than tolerate how the pain killers affect my health further. Please beware that while Dr Maikoo appears competent by all other accounts, there is a conniving element wherein persons who are easy targets are lied to and mislead for the practitioner's benefit.
I have never seen a sweet Dr like this woman. I have been her patient for close to 10 years if not more after being referred by a colleague and each time I leave her rooms, l am happy. Three years ago my husband and son joined after having problems which she resolved. Both myself and husband are not prepared to change our Dr because she and her staff never disappoint and we do not mind travelling all the way from Pinetown. I have also referred my colleagues who are also now her patients. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DR
