After my very cold first appointment with her, I went into pre term labour and got admitted.  When she came to check on me she didn't stand close to my bed..just took the file spoke with the nurse and left.  After being discharged i went for a check up..she made me feel stupid for asking question and trying to understand what was wrong.  I never went back!!! All answers I got from the next gynae I got Dr Shabani  sweetest most patient  Did I also mention on the first appointment I tried to record a video of the scan??? in a very cold rude tone..she told me to switch off my phone. I've never had a doctor that gave so much anxiety .

My first visit to the gynaecologist, and I must say that the doctor was not helpful at all. She had ZERO patience and really did not provide much information. Horrible experience shame! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!

I have avoided going to a gynecologist because of how uncomfortable and expensive it is. Unfortunately I have been struggling with a personal issue which has forced me to go. Hoping I can finally get some answers after struggling for several months, I got some tests done. Waiting a few days and then receiving an SMS just telling me that "everything is fine". I phoned her office to find out what I should do seeing as the tests done did not give any answers, she just never bothered to call me back. I just got an invoice sent to my email giving me 5 days to pay the remaining amount my insurance has not covered. I was willing to pay it if it meant that I could at least get some kind of solution.  This doctor does not care to help her patients.

I absolutely love Dr Motshegare. I had my first baby and she is absolutely amazing. she is very helpful and kind too.  She knows what she is doing and takes very good care of mom and the baby.

Went to see this doctor and paid for the consultation unfortunately due to the hospital being out of network, the urgent admission had to be referred to Bedford hospital because Sunward hospital was not on the medical aid network.  This doctor neither their rooms assisted with the transfer or process.  As sick as I was I had to wait for hours phoning constantly to beg the doctor rooms to ask the doctor to make a simple call to Bedford gynaecologist for admission.  The staff are clearly terrified of their boss doctor who needs interpersonal skills.  They repeatedly lied and said the call was made to the new admission gynaecologist at Bedfordview.  I put the casualty clerk on the line who informed them that the gynaecologist confirmed she is yet to get a call from Dr motshegare.  This resulted in paying double for the exact same procedure that was already done by Motshegare that could have been avoided with a 2min phone call to the gynaecologist at Bedford.  Double the cost and triple the time that was wasted with phone calls and waiting in vain.  This clearly demonstrates an inhumane element with no empathy whatsoever for a sickly patient that was passing out and needed urgent care.  Leave alone the fact that she cares nothing for patients having to incur unnecessary huge costs in a time when jobs and money is under severe strain.  Could it be she is so arrogant, has no empathy whatsoever that she is unable to assist another human being on a basic human needs case.  This is disgusting you are waisting your time we saw the reviews too late, was already in the rooms awaiting urgent attention otherwise it was enough to run far.  If you ignore and still choose to go see Dr motshegare good luck

I don’t even know why Google allows a one star like there should be no stars. She is not human she is grumpy non professional it’s like she is doing you a favour. I could list a million things. All I can say is this is the worst experience in the world

Worst experience ever!  Dr told my dehydrated collapsing pregnant sister that she needs to be admitted. The hospital asked for Dr to call to confirm admission which she refused to do. We waited hours, only for her to tell us that we must pay another causalty doctor consult, at the hospital, to provide admission,  after we had just paid her. Most inhumane unhelpful doctor ever. Think twice before consulting with Dr Motshegare.

Worst experience , after an operation I went for a check up.  She was so cold as she was doing the exam i was still in pain and still bleeding and in pain i was anxiously holding my breath. She asked do you honestly think i will hurt you ? that was so cold of her , I asked more questions about my health but she dismissed me and said she's not a general surgeon  , and that was the end of our discussion I have never sat my foot there ever again !!

First time going to a gynecologist and Dr Motshegare was gentle and calming. Had an overall great experience.

I have just done my 21 week scan with her first time  patient and first time mom. Was considering to continue with her up to birth! No chance!!! Extremely rude, not helpful in any shape or form no comparison. Not explain fat all of the baby is actually developing correctly or anything 5 minutes spend in her “care” I went out of there in tears !!!!! DO NOT GO THERE !!!!!!! I am not going back will look for another gyno. I feel so sad and honestly like trash she couldn’t rush me out the door fast enough . All that for 2000 Rand! I am lost for words honestly never experienced such horrific and traumatic visit. Would not recommend not one bit !
