Doctor is freindly and very patient.Visiting the doctor always felt like visiting home. The receptionist lady is the only problem..BAD attitude

The doctor is super professional and nice. But as for the receptionist, it is a totally different story. I wanted to go to the dentist today, but the receptionist told me that the dentist is not in today. She was very rude towards my mother. She has a very rude tone towards us.

The reception lady is generally rude, but I did say I will be back because I am going to a meeting which was going to happen at 12pm. I was here since in the morning and the doctor came around past 10'ish. When I returned, I informed the male receptionist that I am from a meeting and he asked: “Do you know what happens when someone is not around when their number was being called?”, I responded no, he said ‘well, you will be number last and Patricia didn't tell me anything’, the reception lady I am guessing that's her name meanwhile took her bag and said she was coming back. I asked if I would get another number...and the guy while flapping his had in the air said we will see where we place you. The treatment is appalling, soft skills are essential, to running a service, your service starts at the front line. Mabela has a great track record my experience with my illnesses and it is the only reason we sometimes stick around.

I was not happy with the service, I went there and didn’t get help. I called and some Venda lady answered and she was rude. I nominated Dr mabila on my medical aid because most people were saying good thing about him . When I went , I got assisted by some Xhosa Doctor and the service was bad ‍

The Dr is friendly and he makes u feel comfortable to disclose all ur problems, he is jst not a Dr bt a social work too. As for the receptionist ladies it's a different story, it's hard to even ask more infor abt the services the medical center offers because de ladies thete seems not interested in talking to us as patients. No smile, insufficient information was provided with, no interest to show willingness to assist both of them they are un- approachable.

The Dr is pretty good, but one of the receptionist, dark lady with glasses is being always ! always ! always unfriendly, uncaring, and ill-humoured. And as a patient being greeted by such an unfriendly staff, this make me avoid this office or dread coming here for assistance.

Not too sure about the doctor,but I was there this sunday 02/06/2019 and there was someone standing in for Mabela,he gave me medications but today it's Tuesday i am still very sick and 2 of packets of the pills he gave me are finished already,unbelievable right.I then went back to report this today but the receptionist was horrible,she didn't even want to know my reasons for returning,all she emphasized was the R350 that I must pay after paying R450 a day before yesterday.i took my meds correctly but clearly the doctor didn't count well.I am in shock and pain at the same time.I rather pay a new doctor to do a proper check up than to pay 350 yooo. How do you give medications that gets finished before the patient is well? But it was just tonsils,now so complicated.

I started using his services since 2017 and I am happy.. He is a good doctor and there was this other guy who was working as a receptionist he was good and friendly.. 2019 there's this other lady who wears glasses and having short hair speaking venda she's so rude and she is not welcoming at all..maybe the doctor doesn't know this side of hers cause if he knew he wouldn't have her as the receptionist...
