Dr. MJ Akabor

Absolutely amazing dentist!! Took my two kids for a check up and one had to have two teeth removed and is terrified of dentists. Dr Akabor was fantastic with them both and they walked out with smiles on their faces and no more fear of the dentist! Would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Very poor time management skills. I had made an appointment for 10:30am and confirmed with the receptionist. Arrived at 10:15am to fill out necessary paperwork as it was a first time appointment. By 11:20am i was still waiting in the reception. I had taken time off to get to this appointment and have my teeth checked. Very unprofessional and rude to not stick to allocated timeslots. I do not recommend this practice to anyone.

My father saw Dr Akabor during lock-down to have a new set of dentures made. They were extremely pricey and less than 6 months months later, they have broken. I would not recommend as this is pathetic workmanship.

Went for wisdom tooth removal. Had to remove one side then the other side. Both times I had minimal swelling on my Jaw, mostly painless compared to stories I heard for Wishdom tooth removal. Was able to eat the next day, not sure if I was lucky, but believe it was Dr Akabor that is a great dentist. Also compared to other places I was qouted, the price was realy reasonable.

Daylight robbery at best. When making the appointment they said they take all medical aid. After everything was done, a large sum was demanded, saying that they only work with Discovery. Bloody cheats!!!! I was so annoyed...having to spend money I didn't even budget for.

WOW!!!!!! What a difference! The proof is in the pudding. Will share before and after pics. He also is contracted to Discovery.
