Dr Parker, Cape Town Station Practice

I went there a few times last year when I was not feeling well and got treated well. This year they’ve gotten sloppy and they’re not efficient at all. I went there on a Monday and they told me the doctor had no capacity to help and then I booked an appointment for Thursday. When I went for my appointment I still couldn’t see the doctor and there was no clear explanation given to me as to why. I waited for about 30-40 minutes past my appointment time and decided to leave as I had to go back to work. I definitely do not recommend going there. Very very unprofessional

I have experienced the most horrible service at Dr Parker's surgery, those ladies at reception are worst arrogant people I have ever dealt with I rang up to set an appointment on numerous occasions a day prior, I was advised that my appointment is set. On arrival I had to wait over 45 minutes some times an hour before being attended to, I understood the first few times I enquired what’s the best way forward, so I don’t have to wait. The reception told mewell if you are not happy come back the next day or set an appointment.

I was referred to Dr Parker by a friend. My experience both telephonically and in the waiting room, was pleasing and met with great professionalism. To meet a doctor that doesn't beat around the bush, is frank, to the point and friendly at the same time, is always pleasing, and is the kind of doctor I will always recommend.

The worst Dr I've ever went to!!!!! The receptionist was rude! The Dr was worse!! Rushing through everything, brushing things off with unfair comments making me feel like I'm pretending to be sick! They don't even deserve 1 star!

I wish I read the reviews before going to this man, I went there on Saturday with tonsillitis, firstly he asked me he asked how do I know I have tonsillitis, I told him cause I get them a lot and I am a nurse I know the symptoms he got an attitude with me there after, was rude with me and after examining me he confirmed I do have tonsillitis gave me prescription of some generic antibiotics even when I told him generics take forever to work on me. 4days later today I am finishing the course of the antibiotics but I am still in pain like I was before no change just the temperature that has subsided. This old man does not care about his patients at all.

So woke up ill and therefore decided to see the Doctor. I got to the practice in 2nd floor by 10am and I was welcomed by down-right disrespect at the reception. I requested an available slot to set an appointment and I was scheduled for 2pm. I returned home and waited for the my appointment I came back exactly 2pm as per scheduled. Receptionist only took out my folder and asked me to sit down. I have been waiting 40 mins with no explanation nor apology for such a long delay even though I had an appointment. The lack of courtersy and disrespect has topped it all.

If I could give them a 0 rating I would. Its very unprofessional. It seems this doc opened many practices and he has just lost the ball. The receptionist are horrible and they don't submit my documents to my medical aid. Get to the doc for my appointment and they are CLOSE on two separate occasions- no one called to inform me. Once I got a script and it was unable to get meds cause the pharmacies couldn't make out the handwriting. Called them and they are unable to help me, because the locum who gave me the script is not there and the other locum also cannot make out the handwriting. Its just horrible. You never see the same doctor twice its mostly locums. This doctor should really be removed from the Key Care Network.

I received the most horrible service at one of Dr Parker's surgeries, Vangate MediHealth. One of the employees, Dr Sayed is the most rudest person I've encountered and the way she treats a person, nevermind a patient, is horrible. I would definitely not recommend any of these doctor's surgeries to anyone.

The senior admin lady is the worst, arrogant. I wouldnt recommend the surgery to anyone. I have experienced the most horrible service at Dr Parker's surgery, those ladies at reception need to know exactly what their job is.
