I went to Dr Cooppan years ago for treatment as I had burn out and didn’t know it. He suggested the Panchakarma treatments which was excellent as it reset me completely. I would go in the morning and leave around 15:30 and fall into a deep sleep at home. There were no additional costs to what he told me initially and no additional medication was required. Disappointing and expensive experience with little if any positive results in terms of healing. In my opinion, the main consideration was selling all the vitamin's and powders. Cost R3000-00 in tablets, Excluding consult. Overall poor communication in getting the vitamins when they needed to ordered and ready for collection they said the lines went down for a week. I felt a lack of care and real honesty about what can and cannot be achieved and resolved health wise.
I was referred to Dr Cooppan by a friend, after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was unhappy with my "conventional" doctors who tried to frighten me into the slash, poison and arson route - and having succumbed to the slash phase, I came to my senses, and escaped their harmful further "treatment". Dr Cooppan, who is medically trained, is also an Ayurvedic doctor. This means that he holistically, integratively treats the cause of dis-ease and not only the symptoms, as most "old style" doctors do. He advised a ketogenic diet for me, no sugar, high good fat consumption, little protein, good clean vegetables and fruit etc and put me onto an excellent product - GNLD Neolife 100% natural whole food nutrients, a regime to keep my body's pH correct, as well as other holistic advice regarding my lifestyle. I have never looked back. I lost a very necessary 15 kgs of body mass, have never felt healthier, more vibrant, and, at 65 yrs old, everyone says I look twenty years younger. Skin improved, hair looking great, overhangs gone...But apart from the right treatment, Dr Cooppan is an amazing, caring doctor, who really takes responsibility for monitoring health. His mission is to get his patients well, so that they remain healthy, and don't have to fill their bodies with rubbish processed, sugar filled 'food' and the chemical drugs that keep you in a state of unwellness.
