Dros Richards Bay

Dros the food portions got so much smaller. We ordered crumbed mushrooms with tartare sauce. The mushrooms were tasteless and the tartare sauce - well I don't know what they brought us but it was water mixed with something and so was the pink sauce. My hubby and he's friend ordered 300g steak the portion they got looked more than a 50g. I get a lot of visitors and loved taking them to dross this time around I was ashamed.

Our calamari special for R50 was delicious! And the staff was friendly. There were also castle light special for buy 2 get one free and their coffee milkshakes are good

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Takes 10 minutes to bring a cloth to wipe a table full of rice. Manager Ben wasn’t too cared to sort the situation and was very “surprised” when we left after not getting any menus for 20 minutes. Can’t complain about the service when there isn’t any. Goodluck getting service - it won’t happen. And you’ll probably be shoved at the back in the play area.

It's a very nice chilled place with beautiful views, good food and a very child friendly environment. I always have a good time when I'm there. But I wish they could get more vibrant waiters, people who enjoy doing their work. The waiters look depressed or tired or something but anything other than that I'm happy with the place

Service was ok, food was ok, coffee needs to improve. Amazing views just needs more personal touch.

Wanted a mothers day breakfast. Not great. Orders were mixed. Steak just sinew. I choked and for a while thought I was going to an early grave. My 8 year old son the. Tried chewing the ‘steak’ and gave up after a few minutes as he couldn’t either.
