DSK - German Internatiional School

Love the German school. I have a daughter at the English stream and a daughter at the German stream. Happy with both experiences. Really well organized and academic school!

So glad I left this terrible school. This school preachs diversity, but can’t even teach special needs kids. What a waste.

Great school, great facilities. Amazing offering of extra-mural activities most of which are included. My two daughters are very happy there. Parents are required to participate on various levels. Definitely not just a drop off / pick up school. It becomes part of your life.

A school with a German stream and an English stream. The German stream is okay I guess with teachers from Germany, great Diploma. The English stream is terrible. Lots of bullying I know of at least 3 incidents, mediocre teachers, even the field trips are less organized than the German stream. Lots of promises and talking but no action. So glad we left this school! Our child is thriving now.

Due to diversity amongst the English stream kids, my daughter struggled to adjust & been bullied. With communication to teachers, making them aware of certain situations, I was greatly encouraged by their efficient handling of all issues and the kids involved. Well done!

Great school for achievers and committed people - if you are a lazy laggard, you might be better off elsewhere getting your mediocre grades. If you have the right mindset, you will easily find friends here, and you will appreciate the right kind of team spirit here. If you simply want to be dragged along each day, hoping to scrape a pass, you might perceive the atmosphere as too elitist.

This school follows the internationally highly praised German education system, leading up to the German Abitur, which is accepted for university entry in almost every country all around the globe similar to the IEB. It thereby focuses on developing students' critical thinking and independent tackling of problems. Students learn bilingually and regularly top regional competitions and rankings.

The teachers prefer the German people. If you are from a different country or even only simply the English stream, you are in a terrible spot. Nothing is done against bullying; and I am not only talking about the bullying of children to children. It is also teacher to children and the worst part, even principal to children. Horrible place for a foreign person. Also, if you do not necessarily play any of the sports that are "acknowledged" by the school, you are seen as not worthy. Teachers also do not necessarily care if a student does not understand something or simply is far behind in class.
