Dulce Cafe

This is my second time going to Dulce now. I did not know of this place before. I just happened to stop by it one time on my way to the office. The staff are very nice and the place has really cosy vibes. The food is incredible. Portions are good too. I recommend the smoothies and the Fruit Salad. I know i am coming again.Food: 5/5

One of our favourite spots for breakfast/ brunch. Great halal options. The Croque Monsieur is a regular favourite.

Visited Dulce for some late breakfast/brunch. Was told their last breakfast kitchen orders are taken at 3.30pm. We arrived a few mins after 3.30 but they kindly still took out order as we called on the way. Halal status: 100% HALAL HMC CERTIFIED Service: Well attended to and friendly staff. Food served in 10-15mins. Atmosphere: Music was playing and we had to try ignore it as we tried to talk over it and my child was sleeping. Personally dont think the music is needed. Calm atmosphere otherwise. Ordered: Eggs Royale and Brooklyn Style Breakfast and Peri Peri Chicken Panini. Eggs royale 3.5/5 - hollandaise sauce was light and nice. Smoked salmon was quality, muffin was not too hard and not too soft. However the plate had balsamic vinegar spread at the bottom for aesthetics it seemed and for the rocket salad this overpowered the taste of the eggs royale and made the muffin a little soggy. Maybe better to just add the vinegar to the salad. Brooklyn Style breakfast 2 eggs fried, 2 sausages, 2 turkey rashers, stack of pancakes, maple syrup, clotted cream and variety of fresh fruits for pancakes - 3.5/5 - Eggs were cooked very well. Pancakes were really nice. We did not like the maple syrup it had a hint of an orange infused taste. Clotted cream was more like whipped up cream. One of us did not like the cream and one of us did not mind it. Turkey rashers were very dry and chewy. Sausages lacked flavour have tasted better. Peri Peri Chicken Panini - 4/5 - Very nice flavour a bit less spicy for my liking but overall very nice. Drinks: Fresh Orange Juice - 5/5 Mocha White - 4/5 Overall: Price paid for all the above was 43£ for brunch/breakfast its more then we are used to. However Dulce is in a busy city area. For the taste I would not warrant the price. Other Halal breakfast options are available at better prices and I have enjoyed them breakfasts more. FLAVOUR SCORE: a mediocore 3.5/5 Would I visit again? If I was in the area and had no other options I would. Popping in for a panini or coffee if I was around. But for a brunch or sit down breakfast its nice to try but won't be on my list of breakfast places to revisit.

Nice little place for brunch lovers. Im not the biggest brunch fan but there were many options for those who do like it. Mixture of breakfasts, burgers, croque monsieur, drinks etc. the meal I had was tasty and a decent portion for lunch. The servers were polite. The iced caramel latte I got was too strong in coffee taste for me. The smoothies was very tart but it was berries I guess. Friends got french toast with sides and they thoroughly enjoyed it. A bit too eggy for me. Overall a decent experience. Prices were decent. Quick service of food.

Dolce Café is a great place to grab a quick bite or coffee on the go. Their welcoming and charming entrance may entice you to take advantage of their dine in option as well. But come early as this place is popular among locals and transients. Perfectly placed just outside of Aldgate East tube stop, this stop-in street walk café checked all the boxes. With an array of fast casual picks from pastries on to a full menu, you are sure to find something to suit your needs or desires. On my most recent visit, I very much enjoyed a Carmel Late, a fresh squeezed orange juice, and the panini pressed salmon bagel. While my visit was short lived this time, Nor made me feel welcome and was great with interaction. His accommodation went above and beyond, even with the task of the morning rush lurking in. Calm, composed, and extremely professional, I immediately knew I picked the right place. We exchanged an intellectual conversation and he even had my orange juice on the house! Talk about customer service at its finest. I look forward to many more trips to this wonderful café, and future interactions with Nor. A turkey pleasant and unforgettable experience.

We beat the rush! Arrived around noon as we came by for a quick brunch after visiting Tower Bridge. Excellent service! They'll only take your complete order once everyone on your party is ready. Smoothies, fresh pressed apple juice, and coffee were all a hit. We had the pancakes, french toasts, full English and Brooklyn breakfast. They accommodated one's dairy intolerance with ease. Not much left as the portions were very generous. Excellent food and service.

I've been here twice. First time was great. Ordered 'French all the way'. The vinegar taste was over bearing on the poached egg but the rest was great. My recent visit was ok. Ordered a full breakfast. The Turkey rashers were over cooked and chewy and the toast was barely buttered and really dry. One of the waitresses seemed annoyed when we asked for extra time to order and walked off in a huff. The owner seems really nice and would go back as my previous experience was pleasant.

Great brunch experience, we definitely can recommend the french toast and smoothies. Waitress was very kind and helpful. The only downside is the small size of tables/seating space.

This is an amazing HMC halal breakfast place a stone's throw away from East London Mosque. We had the pleasure of having the full breakfast and everything was so fresh and tasty. The service was great and we'd love to visit again.

Very nice atmosphere, welcoming staff and speedy service. Their soya mocha is the creamiest I have ever had and the French toasts were delicious.
