The Resort is conveniently situated on the beautiful Panorama Route surrounded by the most amazing Waterfalls and Mauchsberg Mountain Range. The style of the cottages is reminiscent of a turn of the century mining settlement.
Eagle Creek Resorts-Sabie offers you fully equipped self-catering cottages with a stretched-out lawn and garden, swimming pool, and fireplace on site. The two bedroom cottages comfortably sleeps two to six guests. Secure parking, own braai facilities and units are serviced daily. Laundry and babysitting services can be arranged on request. All rooms are non-smoking rooms, with ceiling fans, comfortable couches, fridges, stove tops and microwave ovens. Guest amenities, towels and bed linen are provided.

The place is not safe at All. We arrived on the 23rd afternoon the following day in the morning we woke up and our car parts were stolen and their don't have cameras, they have only one security who is not armed the worse part is they said they are not reliable for our car damages meaning we entered at our own risk how fair is that . My advice is DO NOT visit Eagle creek resort for your own safety. They stole battery car, sound system, wheel ramps and smashed two windows of the car while we were sleeping.
You are either one of two travelers: 1 The one who wants to be ultra comfortable and reach his / her destination in the easiest way possible. Or 2 The one who enjoys the journey no matter if a little uncomfortable or comfortable, knowing that it is part of it and enriches the experience. Fortunately this wonderful place would appeal to both! The hosts are friendly, warm people who will make sure that you have all your needs attended to. They are down to earth people with big dreams for their business. The facilities are standard but it provides a feeling of "I want to be the best that I can be, with my limited budget". The Housing: For Traveler 1: The housing is cozy, clean and has almost everything you would need. For Traveler 2: The housing is cozy, clean and has everything you would need. The house is secured with a security gate Not that you would need it that covers off the entrance. Depending on the house that you choose there will be a very decent kitchen, bathroom With good water pressure and a modern showerhead, bedrooms and a spacious living room. There is no covered parking but the trees do a good enough job most of the time. There is wifi but the strength of the signal depends of how near you are to reception. Please do take plugs with for your chargers as there are little to none catering for that. The beds are for me the best feature of the house because I love my sleep. The beds are covered in hotel grade bedding while the bed itself is pretty spacious. Take extra towels if you are going to be more than one person. There is no TV which could be great or bad depending on the type of traveler you are. The Grounds and Facilities: The grounds are secured and there is a friendly man operating the gate. There is a beautifully kept blue swimming pool for the hot days and a decent playground for the kids so that mom and dad can enjoy their peace. Reception has a small range of products incase you need anything like snacks, ice, drinks, firewood etc. Conclusion: This small to medium accommodation still has a long way to go but they have the heart, ambition and passion to be one of the best in the lowveld area for sure. My family and I enjoyed this place with its beautiful setting and warm people so much. We all wanted to stay much longer. I just want to say thank you to the owners and friendly staff for waiting up for us till 12 at night. Thank you as well for the freebies we all were pleasantly suprised. We know it can be hard to run a business, especially after the covid-19 period. We wish you all the best for you business in the future. Thank you as well for helping us make this weekend unforgettable!
It was just lovely. I cannot agree in any way with someof the negative reviews. I would enjoy it so much to go back.
It was really nice. We had fun. There's no music and I never thought I'd enjoy peace and quiet like this. Me and my friends managed to have conversations and hear our laughter. I'd go there over and over again. Infact if I could turn back time....
1. This place is not safe at all. They broke into one of the cars we were using as we were traveling as a group. They stole the radio, cellphone and the car battery. N.B. The signs are evident that it's not a safe place most doors of the chalets we were using show forced entry. Any car can enter and exit as they please without any security checks. Before checking out the staff come to collect fridges and other valuables. 2. Some of the toilets were not working properly. 3. The bedding was never changed for the whole 3 nights we stayed there. 4. There were no television sets. 5. No air conditioning only ceiling fans.
There's tranquility in the logde. The cabin has almost every apparatus that makes it a home. Stove, fridge, microwave, couches, sink, dining area, braai stand in the veranda, the only missing thing was a TV. The lodge is less than 5 minutes away from to the small CBD of sabie. Close to the fuel station, fast food joubts like kfc and shopping outlests like shoprite. Staff has a very warm reception. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

A good place to be .with peace of mind
Firstly we paid in full yet no one knew of our arrival because the previous owner didn't inform new owner of our booking. I read the reviews which 'seemed' positive, but.... The accomodation is not what i was expecting as according to pictures. It was very dusty and dirty. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in months. Broken cupboard doors, filthy fridge with stentch. Must say it's the worst place my husband and I have ever visited. We will never recommend to anyone. This was January 2019.
