Remarkable lack of communication, both apparently within the company and with their customer base. Made 2 separate orders, the first order took over 4 weeks to arrive due to apparent clerical errors on their end which required them to resubmit our order twice the second order arrived after one resubmission. This is hands down the most disorganized and lackadaisical "veteran" run company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Lacking respect for their clients needs and time, and an apparent lack of accountability within their own ranks. Highly doubt my company will purchase more products from EIG.
We ordered two of the largest shelves through Costco and they promptly shipped. Unfortunately, FedEx in my area is not known for being gentle and the packaging was damaged on two of the boxes shipped in 6 total. After opening them up, noticed that one of the shelves had missing hardware bag had ripped and reached out to Eagle to see what could be done. With no delay, Chrissy apologized for the issue and had a replacement hardware set sent out. Very happy with the responsive customer service and would buy again.
Ordered item 9/12/22, they charged my credit card IMMEDIATELY THAT DAY. Supposedly ships 7 - 10 days. Finally after much back and forth told them to cancel the order and credit my card ASAP. Gee, it takes 5 to 7 business days for a credit to be applied ---only took hours for them to charge it. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.
We ordered two 2 SafeRacks Garage Shelving, White, 24" x 48" x 84" from Costco on 1/1/21. The website states that the order “Arrives approximately 10 - 15 business days from time of order.” The Costco website states they were shipped on 1/5/21. On 1/11/21, we received an e-mail from Saferacks stating that our racks had shipped. On 1/16, we checked the FedEx tracking site, only to find that the "Shipping label has been created. The status will be updated when shipment begins to travel”. We contacted Costco, who offered us a whopping $30 credit for our inconvenience not even 10% of what we paid!. We also contacted Saferacks via the links in their email for issues regarding shipping and customer service. After several e-mail exchanges, the Customer Service Supervisor for Eagle Industrial Group who is evidently the distributor for Saferacks assured us that our racks would arrive on 1/22/21. But to our dismay, only the wire rack shelves arrived….no side rails or uprights. We again contacted Eagle Industrial Group but recieved no response. We then contacted Costco on 1/25/21. Their Ecommerce Group opened a service request and responded back to us on the 27th that our missing parts would be delivered to us “within the next 10-15 business days”. So, though these may be great shelves at a good price, be prepared to wait for a month and a half to receive them. We cannot believe that Costco allows their 3rd party suppliers to treat their loyal customers in this manner. To us, from here on out, as “time is money”, we’ll go to Amazon, who can provide similar racks, of equal or better quality. They may cost a bit more, but we can get them in a timely manner, in most cases within 2 days.
I’m sure the shelves are quality it’s just being able to get what you order is the issue. We ordered the smaller unit and finally after weeks of not receiving them we finally got three boxes, the side posts and two boxes that are the shelves. I’m really hoping that is the correct number of boxes for the size we first ordered. I made the mistake of ordering a second unit, what a mess we are in
