Based in the heart of the Jikeleza route, East Coast Angling Adventures is perfectly situated to offer an array of angling experiences. From ultralight angling all the way through to tackling big game it is all available right on our doorstep. We offer trips up and down the East Coast and venues like Haga Haga, Double Mouth, Morgan’s Bay and Kei Mouth are not to be missed. For the slightly more adventurous we offer day trips to all areas as far as Fish River Point in the south and Kobonqaba in the former Transkei to the north. We will also customise multi-day tours specific to each clients needs.
We have an intimate knowledge of this stretch of coast and will always advise you on your best options for the day taking all factors into account. We customize every trip for our clients.
Our goal is always for our clients to catch fish, but further to this, we want them to learn something new, and experience the true East Coast.
Greg Kellermann grew up in East London and has been fishing the area for 35 years. He participates in all facets of angling from fresh water to shark angling. He has received his provincial colours for Rock and Surf Angling many times and has guided multiple national teams in three provinces. He is the current South African record holder for Bronze Whaler Shark at 227kg, a record which has been standing for almost 10 years.
He has guided rock and surf professionally in Cape Town and further afield, has worked on a tuna charter boat, fished commercially for tuna, owned a tackle shop, and has written many articles for magazines and other publications.
