One would think that when a store is quite and a customer walks in, the. Staff would try and greet or even acknowledge you. It’s sad that staff would rather be on their phones or hang around in small groups speaking to each other rather than engage with customers to help keep the business going Empty shops are a bad sign and Edgar’s seems to have an inherent problem of getting run down all the time. Perhaps they should start with customer service and work from there
The store is so big, I always get lost LOL. Today I just want to recognise one of your cashiers NOMSA. I am always impressed by friendly cashiers Nomsa was polite and very nice. I really hope you pay people like her well.
Such a shopping beauty, the ambiance is exquisite and the experience memorable. It's also very huge giving customers much needed variety. It even houses a coffee shop inside. Absolutely amazing
Very well stocked store, pretty friendly staff but they all seem to pass the buck, must have asked 5 to 6 different people at different tills, where I need to go and each time I was sent to the next till area. After that they seemed helpful and did get what I wanted done. Pity about passing the buck. Also, it seems like an issue in the shopping centre itself but there are random dark areas and the random areas with light. I had thought it may have been lights activated by movement but I was wrong. Just half the lighting in most of the shopping centre does not seem to work.

Not as big as the one in Cresta or Sandton City. I went there just before Father's Day so the store had a lot of focus on that. For bargain hunters there were a lot on offer with special from the big brands to lower price merchandise. Not unusual to get 50% off and sometimes a lucky more than 50 % on shoes. For the first time there were actually an assistant on the floor to help you with something. That is a very rare act to find at any Edgar's store. For the 2nd time in a row the cashier forgot to take of the security tag on an item so there was embarrassment when it went off. The security and an assistant immediately apologized and rectified the situation. I had a similar experience in same week at Mall of Africa and the embarrassment was even bigger as security ran after me. I reported the matter to the "store manager" but he was not really helpful or apologetic.
The worst online experience I have ever had so on the 26th of April I Bought R1484.50 worth of makeup from Edgards online store, when I came back to work on Tuesday the 2nd I phone Edgars to find out where my stock is they told me they have network issues and we had to recreate my order, I was frustrated but said yes then on Wednesday I see my order was recreated and completed on the Edgars website with all my items so I phoned again on Thursday and ask to send me the Waybill no no to mention all the emails I have already send regarding this matter then they said no they would look into it so this morning I emailed and phoned again just to get told no my first order is only getting picked now and that they are out of stock on the one item and that they do not now where the second order is and if it comes I must reject it and the customer service persons want to say but she did phone me today so well-done since the 26th I had to phone and follow up and you phoned me once now I must give you credit,,,,,, AND TO TOP IT ALL OF ON BOTH MY ORDER THEY HAD STOCK OF EVERYTHING BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY PICKING THE STOCK NOW SOME OF MY ITEMS ARE OUT OF STOCK I will never never buy from them again its not worth waiting a month if I am luck and getting frustrated I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND I HOPE I GET ME REFUND
Never have stock and linen department is such a disappointment considering what a big store it is in an upmarket shopping center
It's quite big and there's a variety of clothing to choose from. The staff were amazing and were more than happy to assist.
