What a stunning lively energetic campus! I visited the campus during their East Coast Radio Live Broadcast event where they gave away a bursary to students who entered the competition via Radio instructions... Such helpful, friendly staff and students! Beautiful clean campus! Mr Swain, the Head of STADIO Musgrave Campus ensured to come around and greet all the guests visiting on his campus. The recruitment team is efficient and helpful. I'd be a proud student to study at this institution ‍ offering a variety of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications aligned with the DHET and SAQA regulations, however the Musgrave Campus caters for only their Academic School of Teacher Education qualifications via contact learning at this stage. The School of Education's Distance Learning house is also situated just across the street where students studying their accredited distance learning qualifications via distance learning can seek support from.
The lack of communication at this place is absolutely shocking. What is the point of having a phone number if no one answers? Not only that, the fact that I have had to email several times and have taken two entire weeks to try and sort out an issue which no one has even attempted to try and help me with has been utterly disgusting. And then they wonder why students are rude in their emails...
I highly recommend that you do not consider studying at this institute. The lack of communication is disheartening. I am in the second semster of my PGCE and I honestly cannot wait for this nightmare to be over. A whole 40+k wasted on absolute garbage. This institution has poor services. There is no proper communication about anything from this place. It is a constant battle to get a simple response regarding any assignment/assesment or any documents. 90% of the lecturers are rude and do not assist you. This institute only cares about money. We are completely lost in this semester and do not know how we will push through with such terrible services.
I would not recommend Stadio at all. I experienced a lot of issues such as admin, communication and support. With important enquiries such as requesting an academic transcript, asking for monthly statements and canceling debit orders after completing your studies, they either don't answer any phone calls no matter what number you phone or they don't answer emails after finally getting the right email address. I have worked at other universities before and completed several degrees at other universities and this response from the staff is shocking and unprofessional.
This is my third qualification and I will never recommend Stadio to anyone. When I have brought up issues that my fellow students have complained to me about regarding communication, admin and lack of adequate support to the staff I was met with passive aggressive attitudes. The staff haven't been trained on the new system even though it is April already. I am told because my other fellow students haven't been able to send as many emailsmany are young parents that I am the only one with these issues. The study guides are littered in spelling mistakes and incorrect page numberswhen referring to the handbook or study manual yet we are told "We don't understand". Horrendous service and Horrendous Deplorable Attitudes. The online sessions are maximum 45 minuteswhich is hardly enough time for questions and to go through the study material, thus I have taken it upon myself to assist my fellow students with their study planning as well as creating PowerPoint slides to assist them.
Will never recommend the school / institution to any person. You are source of income for them nothing more nothing less, they will not answer your call. The lecturers are something else. Don't Do It!!! Try VC or any other private institutions
Do NOT study at this 'institution'. Another private conglomerate in the education field who charges an absolute fortune whilst their services are a shambles. Have also had certain lecturers respond to emails in the most rude and condescending manner, yet alone how the majority of my emails only get responded to a month later.
STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST ANYONE STUDYING HERE! I successfully completed my Bachelors Degree in Education at this Institute in 2020. I have still NOT received my Degree and NO communication from Embury/ Stadio in this regard. My parents have worked hard and payed a lot of money for me to study here and we are NOT getting what we've payed for and I have worked hard for!
Unfortunately, Stadio is not what I expected. I graduated in 2020 and it is now April 2021 and I have had not one single communication about Graduation. Apparently it will be virtual, because of covid. Yet, normal lectures are still happening. This is a quick way for them to save money, but having us miss out. Extremely dissapointed that I have studied for 4 years yet I am not receiving a graduation.
As many of the posts suggest, these employees do not care for communication, at all! We have been trying to get my daughter registered here since December 2021 It's Almost Feb 2022 and still not registered - emails, telephone calls... Horrendous. Save yourself the frustration and apply elsewhere.
