My name is Emma Ellis. I’m a musician from Port Elizabeth who recently gave up studying to pursue music fulltime. Music has always been a constant in my life through all life’s obstacles and I am convinced that I was put on this planet to share my passion and talent with the world. I have a unique energy and it definitely shines through in everything I do, especially my music.
Contestant on The Voice SA Season 2 and loving every second of it!
I love people, working with people and performing for people. My love and passion for music and people is what pushes me to heights I couldn’t even dream of and it has been such an adventure discovering my sound and identity when it comes to music.
I made the decision of dropping everything to follow my dream of being a fulltime musician this year and I look forward to the future and all it holds. I will be in Johannesburg as of February 2017 and look forward to being in the industry in such a big city (as PE is rather small when it comes to the music scene).
My musical training includes piano, recorder, tuba, voice, multiple school choirs and bands and guitar as well as four years in the Eastern Cape Children’s Choir.
Exciting things are ahead in 2017 and I look forward to sharing this journey with all of you!
