What a lovely sight on entering the ladies cloakroom. Beautfuful fresh flowers all over. We always stop here on the way to Cape Town. Wimpy makes wonderful toasted sandwiches and coffee.
Carol a sweet and humble waitron at Wimpy Engen 1 Stop ensured that our order was on time and warm. She was friendly and cute.
Service is always Fantastic and I visit twice a month at least from cape town. They're worth planning you're refuelling stops around. As well as when you are lucky you can get some of the pancakes too!
If you're looking for a wimpy, continue to the next 1 stop 50km away. I had a horrible experience at this wimpy. The food took a long time to be served and when it did arrive, our order was wrong and we were given the wrong drinks. When the food arrived the third time, the eggs were not cooked as requested. On top of the frustration of this experience, the waiters seemed to be talking about us and continuously looked over at our table as if we were animals at a zoo. Very disappointed with the service we received from Jady and the response from the staff when we aired our griviences.
Terrible service, waiters have a bad attitude and very unprofessional. Our wimpy waiter took 20 minutes just to get our drinks and got our orders wrong multiple times and when we sent the food and drinks back we were met with a terrible attitude from multiple waiters and the manager. Our waiter then proceeded to ignore our table until we got up to pay. Our waiter’s name is Jady.
A good stop over petrol station with McDonald's and a separate coffee and snacks convenience store. Good toilets for males and females, and those with disabilities. There is a jungle gym for the children and a lot of outdoor seating
So a week ago we were on our way to George airport when we made a stop here. I've been to many gas stations around the country and the restrooms at this place were so horribly dirty and neglected. The changing station for babies were so unclean that I will not touch it. How can one expect a baby being changed there?! Almost everything were broken and the ladies room were out of order, we had to use the one for wheelchairs. The toilet could not even flush anymore. We walked out so disgusted and not buying a coffee. I know of many others that do not even make use of this one stop anymore because of the negligence. A ship without a captain indeed.
Nice Wimpy. Standard Engen 1 Stop. Conveniently situated on N2 just outside Mosselbay. Nice play area for the kids. Has convinient store and clean toilets.
Where your petrol attendant welcomes you, introduces himself kindly and serves you with a smile. Thank you so much Cornelius. The staff inside the shop are as happy and cheerful. A pleasure to be served by such amazing service. Thank you and well done on customer service.
Great place to pool off after a long drive.
