Vanderbijlpark consulting rooms and Laser suite: Located at 14 Hertz Boulevard, Vanderbijlpark, just behind Cormed hospital the highly visible Envision Centre for Sight provides the perfect location for an ophthalmology practice. The practice is set up with equipment for diagnosing, evaluating and treating eye disease combined with revolutionary software to complement these instruments. Our procedure room is perfect for all smaller procedures that do not require a hospital visit. Our complete laser suite is equipped with 2 lasers: a femtosecond laser and an excimer laser.

In the Parys Boulevard Centre in Buiten Street in Parys we recreated our Vanderbijlpark rooms on a slightly smaller scale. This is also a state of the art facility that is supported by the Vanderbijlpark practice.

What a great bunch of humans, from reception to the eye tester, the gentleman who made me tea and the fantastic doctor. I'm highkey disappointed and so so sad that I don't qualify for laser after saving up and researching for so long. But it was so well explained by the doctor after doing thorough testing. Envision has restored my long lost trust in human beings.....Pardon me if that line offends you in any way form or shape. I have seen a lot visiting places where you need assistance..... At Envision there’s willingness for staff to assist you.....there’s passion in the way everyone executes their assignments.... From the gentleman at the gate who welcomes you to the receptionist and the foot soldiers who are always on their toes yet with smiles written on their beautiful faces.... the doctors are as friendly as friendship ought to be.... How did i find out about Envision????? My eye vision had been reducing past 3 years but i kept on postponing visiting a specialist.....as a layman in this field i thought I would just stop by Spec savers have my eyes measured n given glasses to improve my sight..... So i walked into this spectacle shop in Brooklyn mall Pretoria......lady assisted me and after some rigorous tests done she said definitely i will need glasses But ‘ I recommend you see a specialist first because it looks like there’s ‘something ‘ on your right eye. Following day I searched the Internet for specialists and by now I knew they are called ophthalmologists...... Booked at appointment at the famous Pretoria eye institute...... Doctor observed me and in less than 10 mins he was done and my bank account went minus R1300 looking into one camera. The doctor told me I had cataracts in both my eyes and they will need to be removed and I asked him at what cost, how much?? First he said he ddnt know which was strange to me. Then when i pressed him he said I was looking at R26000 or more per eye . At this moment I was starring at being blind because I did not have that kind of money and with the extensive research I had gotten now from the internet .....cataracts if not taken care of can lead to blindness.....and the bad news is there’s no non-surgical solution for cataracts. I was not prepared to get blind.....I googled the internet for cheaper cataract removers and there I saw ENVISION....... But before I came across ENVISIONfrom then i write it in bold.....because they are bold, I called other ophthalmologists around Pretoria and Johannesburg and their prices ranged from R26000 to R40,000 per eye...... On the ENVISION web page it’s R15000 for one eye and R25000 for two eyes......I was like no way....this has got to be a scam  my apologies again I phoned ENVISION and the friendly lady i spoke to confirmed the prices on the web page. Still i was not contented.......I mean we live in a strange and money driven world of you know what i mean..... Next day I drove from Pretoria where i stay down to the Vaal where ENViSiON are located......1hour 30 mins I was ushered in by the gentleman at the gate who showed me where to park. Got to reception and to the testing rooms all around smiles from everyone I was taken through not less than 10 tests each on a different camera..... I was wow these people are doing a wonderful kind of noble service........ At each stage detailed explanations were given to me why it was being done and I was told the condition of every part of my eyes not only the presence of a cataract now........ They use technology to the maximum that before you go to the next room your report is sent. Finally when i met the doctor he told me that yes I need to remove a cataract from only my right eye in Pretoria I was told both eyes as the one in the left eye is still too small I should not worry about it now, at least not now. What kind of business person tells you to spend R150000 instead of R25000 in today’s capitalist world......... I was booked for a date and before i was readying myself for the surgery to begin it had ended....no pain no hiccups..... Now here’s the thing ....operation was done by say 11:00am I went to rest and by around 08:00pm I switched on my phone which illuminated like police flash lights.....it was so bright......it sunk in me that indeed my sight is restored. Still they were not done.....I was told to come back following day for follow up, no fees paid for follow ups

My mother was diagnosed with bilateral cataracts and glaucoma  She could barely see plus she's a diabetic patient  We went from pillar to point with goverment, she was deteriorating and becoming depressed by day. This affected everyone in the family. As her first born i couldn't sleep. We prayed about it as she was not on medical aid  One day I took the phone and phoned every ophthalmologists until we found Dr Lourens Coetzee and his team  I cannot put in words how welcoming and how he changed my moms life. Within a work my mom could see again and she's the person who we knew before.  Her confidence is back  Prices were reasonable too compared with other doctors, service very professional and helpful. The Dr is walking with us in this journey  I'm writing this with tears in my eyes yet very happy  Words are not enough to thank Dr Coetzee. May God bless all of them
